This has got to be the most boring preseason game in the history of the NFL.


CBS would have been better off showing a compilation of NCIS Leroy Jethro Gibbs slapping Dinozzo et al on the back of the head.

Why is anyone losing hope? We didnt play our top RBs or Goff. The main starters were only really in for about 5 series (Aidan gone after 3) and we played about evenly with them until we took our guys out and mixed 2nd and 1st string. If Goff is starting, no way we weren't up 2 scores at halftime

I come into this Lions season with the same amount of hope I?ve come into each season since I started coming into Lions? seasons right around a half century ago.

My thoughts after pre season:

We have 0 back up QBs and should trade for one.
I have no idea if Goff is any better than our back ups lol
Defense played better than i thought they would
Stop picking 2nd rd DTs...they all fucking suck
It was nice seeing Okudah make some plays....hes got long arms that give him an advantage if he can stay close to his guy
Tough decisions at RB, WR and CB
Id go with Swift, Williams, Jackson and Reynolds at RB
2 out of 3 probably make it with Williams on IR between Cephus/Benson/Kennedy.
1 gets cuts when Williams comes back.
Our LBs still suck.

Not a very top end talented team that could win 7-9 games.

The reason why this team loses so much is the lack of decent LB. Never good. I hope they can tackle after those constant 6-8 yard passes.

No I'm basing it on the play of the supposed top 3 starting O line. it wasn't impressive.
