Pro Football Focus FA ratings

According to the site:

1. Ratings between players of two different positions are not meant to be compared.

And:

2. No way in hell is a 31 year old Andre Carter who had his quad surgically re-attached a month ago, worth more in FA than a 25 year old pass rusher that has shown the ability to regularly create turnovers.

3. Eric Wright has a -14 value. Haw Haw.

Solo Ast Total Sack YdsL Int Yds IntTD DefTD FFum PD Sfty

2. 97 36 133 30.5 221 1 4 1 2 14 12 0

Two DEs, Number 1 is your 9th Ranked DE FA; Number 2 is your 74th. Number 2 has played one more season for comparison's sake. Which one would you rather have based on those stats.

Sorry about the format. Can't seem to fix it so the #'s match.

Eric Wright is almost at some rating as Ernie Sims, but to be fair they have Mario Manningham at a -6.1 which doesn't seem right to me. If Giants let him go, I'd have zero issue with Lions dropping Burleson, bringing in MM and have him and TY compete for #2 WR with other filling #3. I know there are Giants fans that don't like him, and Cruz has obviously overtaken him, but I still am of the perception that he and Manning just haven't ever really found their stride. They have been connecting better lately though, so time will tell, but IMO the Giants would be foolish to let him go.

Its not a worth ranking, its simply how they played this year. Andre Carter had a fantastic year for NE. But of course his value isn't gonna be high considering his age and his current injury.

Its just interesting to see what grades they gave the players this year. Tulloch is a beast and is our most important FA IMO.
