Pass rush, I know we were good last year but we also got a lot of coverage sacks with Darqueze as a once in a generation CB.

MLB, Jones should be a good, functional starter at the Mike, the question is if he can be an all big ten type performer

Ed davis seems to have one LB spot down, the other spot seems like a battle between Bullough and Harris.

Hicks taking over as the field corner, Waynes goes to the boundry.

the right side of the OL with Kruse and Clark, they both have a lot of experience, will Keiler push them?

The one thing i've noticed in this camp vs other ones is previously, we were wondering who our QB would be, who's the running back? can we stop dropping passes? we were relying on junior college transfers to come in and start right away, now it's about maintaining an elite level

Question marks for MSU:

"Why didn't I get into Michigan?"

"Should I hit the books, ace my exams, and try to transfer to Ann Arbor next semester? Or should I hit this case of Natty Light, bang this trashy blond from Fowlerville, and talk shit about Michigan for the rest of my life?"

Or you could forever pat yourself on the back that you had slightly better grades in high school, that allows you to buy into the institutional arrogance of Michigan grads. Even though your program has been largely irrelevant for a decade, you can soothe your ego by over inflating the relevance of your undergrad degree.

You guys will be okay. 10 win minimum.

Edit: Fuck Sparty

Question marks for Michigan:
Will Jabril Peppers make it 6 straight straight September Heismans for this storied program?
Who will Csonte York sucker punch next?
If we buy tickets do we get free Dominos?
Will Hoke eat our free Dominos?
When is it time to stop overlooking little brother?
Do any average looking girls go here?
How is my trust fund looking?
Why does everyone think we're assholes?

10 win minimum? I like your optimism. I say 8, maybe 9. But I'm a pessimist anyways, anytime I am optimistic for season projections the team never live a up to my hype.

"Should I have been a bit more outgoing as a young lad, maybe given the ole gym a shot or made a few friends in HS that went on dates with girls? I know dungeons and dragons was thrilling but to have been kissed before the age of 20 would have been a better trade. Should I have played sports regardless of my inferior athletic ability and meager , soft frame" Like I said before when you went to MSU and saw all those beautiful girls only to realize a dork like you is the furthest thing from their mind, no different than HS eah Chimp? Did it make you want to exact revenge on a message board? I bet the avg person leaves a conversation with you thinking what a goon you are.Your insecurities and lack of objectivity are creepy and undeniable, now scurry off to make your 14,000th post, fing nerd...

Back on topic:

Will the WRs step up and play like they are capable? The WRs were a lot better taking passes from Cook last year, but it would be silly to call them a strength. Cook is loads better than Maxwell, but scoring points was still a chore against better defenses. How far MSU goes will be primarily predicated on the defense, but if the team has eyes on the playoff or even B1G championship, the offensive skill players (WRs specifically) will need to be better.

How will the defense respond to the loss of it's leader? Calhoun is a beast, and Dennard was incredible last year. In the end, it was Bullough who really set and lead the defense. Stopping the run was priority one and Max was a huge part of finding and filling the gaps. I expect Waynes will be able to play up to a similar (if not quite as good) standard as Dennard, but the defense as a whole is still taking a hit from graduation/draft. Will they step up to be another top 5 defense in the country, or will they show signs of decline that will put even more pressure on the offense?

looks like I touched a nerve. was it the Fowlerville thing? I've never actually been there... just sounded appropo for what I was going for.

are any state fans concerned this year could just be one of those "unexpected let downs," like the ones you had in '09, and '12 under Dantonio?

These Michigan MSU stereotypes are funny.

I don't know if they existed back when I was growing up in Ann Arbor, and then attending Michigan, but if they did, I wasn't aware of them.

I only became aware of them when I found the ESPN message boards.

I know the stereotype about Michigan having ugly girls and MSU having good looking girls has been around since at least the late 60's. My dad went to both schools and tells the joke, "9 out of 10 girls in college are good looking, the 10th one goes to Michigan".

I may have been aware of that one in
my final year or so of high and while I was going to Michigan.

There were plenty of good looking chicks at Michigan though, in reality.

your dad may have some low standards when it comes to "good looking girls"...there is no way in hell 9 out of 10 college girls are good looking. MAYBE 3 out of 10!
