Question

It will probably take to late June again like last year for Smokes to figure out Raburn can't hit RHP anymore... Not sure why we are bothering with Inge anymore...Hopefully the weather will warm up because it seems our team needs it..

I fear Inge will hit just enough, and when I say just enough I mean .200, that they feel he deserves to stick around all year.

My amateur observation of the last two loses is that some of the bats aren't being selective enough and getting themselves into good hitter counts, stands out most with BB, Young, Peralta, Raburn and even Cabrera. Hence the reason Cabrera is 0 for his last 11 or something stupid.

That and I can't help but wonder if Cabrera's wrist might be bother him yet from that previous game with Tampa, I don't think he's done much since then.

With the batter box fiasco and then I heard the baseballs were darker than normal, makes one wonder what else is going on to assist in slowing down our offense? Mind you, not taking any blame away from our hitters, they should be a little more patient at the plate.

Yes the bats have gone cold. Peavy thoe is a good Pitcher when healthy and seem to be healthy. Floyd, had one of the better records against the Tigers of the Chisox Pitchers. So there could be part of the problem. And to add to the over all problem the Tigers are going up against IMO there better Pitcher today/Sunday in Sale. As he had there best ERA going into this Series. So today's game is not going to be a cake walk!

The other problem is the over all Pitching matchups in these games and the next three, which I posted in the ESPN board; is they are even or favor the Pitchers the Tigers are faceing. This is what the Fister DL has done in the short term. Smyly should get better with time and starts. Wilk should avoid any more fouls!!!!!! FCOL! All thoe his run support was not getting it done. Really when the Hitter is hurting you instead of helping well what the heck. Yea leave!

Also look at the Sox rotation and you will notice that they have not used a 5th starter yet. So they are getting better starts with/from there front 4 right now. This will change when they go to a 5 man rotation.

Up until 2011, Cabrera has been known to give away at-bats. I hope he's not reverting to that. Miggy needs to mentally lock-in every trip to the plate.
