-Offense and Defense took a dump in the 1st half
-Offense and Defense stepped up in the 2nd half
-Tate is the best FA signing in all of football. Thanks, Seattle
-This team never gives up
-WINNING football games without their #1 WR, #1 RB, ALL their TEs on the shelf and some key players on D = HEART.
-Coaching made adjustments on both sides of the ball. Wow, is that refreshing or what??
-Stafford still needs to be better, but at least he's doing it without his major weapons
-Fuller is getting better.

Did i miss anything?

Fairley injury is pretty major depending on what it is. Did not look good though.

Refs made some questionable calls today....but that's every game in the nfl.

Riddick was good today and needs more touches even when Bush comes back.

Forgot about Riddick. Good call. This kid could easily do Reggie's job.

That delay of game call might have been snapped just in a .1 or 2 before zero but it's nice to fianlly be the ones comeing up on the other end of the hose job calls, gawd only knows it's long overdue

Also I just noticed it was third down before the running play that Took the clock down to 17 seconds at which the clock was stopped on account of a holding call againts Atlanta, if not for that holding call would the lions have been able to get the FG unit out there in time to try a clock winding down FG attempt? I think the lions caught a few lucky huge breaks there towards the end. Lots of work to down offense yet, looking forward to the second half and a megatron back in action

The call was actually a hose job against the Lions since they got a penalty for something that maybe shouldn't have been. The only reason it seems like its a hose job for the Lions is because he missed the first one and made the second one. Had Prater made the first one and missed the second one it would have been noticeable that it was a hose job against the Lions. The fact that he got a second chance at a FG that drew a flag which may have been unwarranted is just karma.

I said in the game thread that has to be the worst throwing decision in the NFL this year. I didn't hear what Ryan said about the play (if anything) but the only explanation is he somehow actually thought it was a Falcons player standing by himself. The only thing I can think of that is comparable was the 1982 college basketball national championship game where Georgetown's Fred Brown just passed the ball to Worthy at half court in the Final seconds.

Yeah we got lucky Vaughn wasn't covering anyone. Still have no idea what he was thinking.

On that GIF, Julio Jones is at the very bottom of the screen on the sideline. Ryan must have known Julio was on that side of the field and somehow....just somehow thought it was Julio standing there. And that's a reach...but I can't come up with anything else that makes sense. It's just a huge blunder on his part.

He obviously didn't see anyone there and like you said, he knew Julio was around that area and threw up a prayer. Horrible decision. :)

With just looking at the GIF, I am sure Vaughn was a lot closer to Jones and moved to the middle when Ryan rolled left. I'm glad he did and I am glad Ryan threw up a prayer.

Might as well hand him Reggies job completely. He's a better pass catcher than Reggie, and we cant run the ball anyway.

I like that Stafford has been hitting Riddick on the run while doing actual routes. Whenever Bush gets thrown to him hes usually just standing near the sideline either about to get blown up or drops it.

Great second half domination. First half was beyond terrible.

Stafford looked shaky in this one. Too many misses yesterday. But the rope to Tate was beauty.

Falcons had some luck too. 3 fumbles with Lions swarming everywehre and the Faclons recover all 3. Fuller slip on the pick (would be Lions points). Miscommunication with Tate on the 3rd and goal. Tate was open. Clearly a penalty on the 2 point conversion attempt. We deserved a second crack at the FG and the holding penalty and the Julio Jones drop on 3rd down (to save time). Falcons OC should be fired for throwing it there.

Big road win and a Packers loss too. Need to handle the 4 home games and beat Bears in Chicago. Long way to go. Get healthy at the bye.

Yes - the kicking game is still a giant source of anxiety. If it weren't for that delay of game penalty, we'd be ready to burn Prater at the stake. I've got faith in the guy, but the Lions kicking job has turned into the Tigers closer job. They may get the job done the vast majority of the time, but they don't instill confidence in doing so.

The damn snaps seemed terrible on both of those last kicks... Can anyone review those... I am not sure..
