I think that might be point percentage, not win percentage.
Keep in mind Blashill's numbers are heavily inflated via shootouts and loser points.
His actual win percentage is at 41.3 %
Its not really fair comparing total point percentage across different eras without taking into account for overtime points. Loser point inflates the numbers of current generation.
Keep it mind the league went from averaging .500 to .560.
A more fair comparison is take ROW - L/OL - T/SO
Even with the advent of 3 on 3 OT will also affect numbers of ROWs. Just look at point percentage in isolation isn't fair.
