At Ford Field - Friday November 23rd. 10:00 AM

Division 8 Finals.
Breckenridge Huskies (224) (13-0) 74.222 at Reading Rangers (244) (13-0) 88.000.

The Huskies are making their first appearance in the title game. since 1950 they have a overall record of 222-370-16. They have made the playoffs three years running and improved every year by two games.. One offense they have scored 431 points. Giving up only 49 on defense... They have a amazing 9 shutouts including two in the playoffs, and held Ishpeming to six. I do feel they have a slightly harder schedule.

The Rangers have had a lot better success since 1950 at 368-257-11. They have made the semifinals a few times but this is also their first appearance in the title game. On offense the have cranked out 639 points, and only given up 95 on defense. they have 6 shutouts including two in the playoffs. They also beat last year's defending champion Ottawa lake Whiteford a few rounds back.

I am taking the team that beat Ishpeming on the road.

Breckenridge I think wins by 6.

End of one Reading leads 8-6 because Breckinridge has a dumb ass coach trying to Throw out of his own end zone. Qb strip sacked fumble td in the end zone. Stupid call. I didn’t think the 2 pt was good but maybe he got the tip to the line. The Huskies of Breckinridge scored first after stopping Reading on 4th and 1 from their own 40. Scored a few plays later. Both defenses are good. Reading appears to be gaining the momentum, and they appear to be much bigger size wise to me. They seem to be able to throw better also.

At 5:58 of second quarter Reading scores on 4th and 5 on a sweep and passes for the two pt conversion. They are in control now up 16-6. Huskies are in big big trouble.

Halftime 16-6 Reading. The dumbass turnover the difference so far.

Reading taking third quarter kick and jamming down the Huskies throats. Score here puts game away most likely. Rangers size taking control of this game. 6 minute drive puts this game out of reach. Huskies have no answers for the sweeps of the Rangers 24-6 now.
This game is over. I should have study better. Reading plays in a much tougher conference and are much bigger. They probably should have been the slight favorite. I’m a tad off on this one. Huskies need multiple turnovers now or stops now.
End of three 24-6 Reading.
Huskies score a td with 9:53 left and get the two point conversion after forcing a punt to midfield. 24-14 now. Now it’s over. Long td run finally puts this game away. 2pt. Conversion is good . 32-14.

39-20 Reading wins its first state title .
