I read that the Tulloch's personal foul in overtime the refs counted 15 yards from the wrong 44 yard line so they gave Tenn. 27 yards instead of the 15 they were suppose to get. Did anyone notice this during the game? How does the players and coaching staff not see this?

looks like youre right....according to the espn play by play they marked it off 27 yards.

(Shotgun) J.Locker pass deep middle to C.Stevens to DET 32 for 24 yards (S.Tulloch). PENALTY on DET-S.Tulloch, Personal Foul, 15 yards, enforced at DET 32. The Replay Assistant challenged the pass completion ruling, and the play was REVERSED. (Shotgun) J.Locker pass incomplete deep middle to C.Stevens (S.Tulloch). PENALTY on DET-S.Tulloch, Personal Foul, 27 yards, enforced at TEN 44.

This sh!t is definitely getting ridiculous. Did you catch any of NE/BAL? These guys barely know the effing rules...how are they supposed to enforce them? And the game just moves too fast for them...

I don't even care (concerning the tennessee game). They deserved to lose after they gave up the 3rd touchdown for over 60 yards. I just hope my dream comes true and when I wake up, someone is fired tomorrow. I don't even care who it is.

I agree they did deserve to lose but the fact still remains the refs gave them an extra 12 yard putting then in fg range, that should never occur. If these refs can't even count penalty yards from the proper yard line then something has to be done. The sad part is that this also occurred in the Bengals game.

How the fuck do the coaches miss that? That's crazy, man...

What I recall is that Mike Pereira or however you spell that idiots name (former ref) said they did the right thing?! Kid you not. Now, I cut the tivo off but I watched the entire travesty. How in the hell can they march off from the point of the fumble? But they did. And Mikey, if I heard him right, said it was the right thing to do.

wasnt ruled a fumble....it was ruled an incomplete pass.

It looked like a catch to me so the extra 12 yards is fine even though it's the wrong call based on an incomplete. Should have been complete plus 15 more yards really.

That's right & I was in error saying it was a "fumble" b/c what I meant was that the receiver "fumbled" the ball, making it incomplete; ergo, the foul should have been marched off from the previous spot, not the spot of the foul itself. Again, the former ref seemed to concur & only argued with the replacements that - in his opinion - the ball was a good catch.

Tend to like what Schwarz has to say on the whole erroneous call thing & I believe most will agree: You cannot expect to win when the opponent burns you on 2 runbacks, takes the ball out of your hands and runs down the field and you make dumb mistakes. iow, the Lions deserved to lose yesterday, much more than Tennessee deserved to win. Probably won't matter anyway. Titans are going nowhere, even with a good young QB & RB and the Lions need to get their heads outta their asses and tighten up on ST's and hope they get better at DB.

This is the same as last year at season's end, we need Delmas and quickly. He's the one who holds it together.

Exactly they need Delmas on one side to cover the majority of deep balls and Houston on the other side to stick with WRs enough to make up for the bad safety on that side. One or the other is missing and it doesn't work without one or the other. Dink and dunks got the Titans 9 points. First 10 weeks last year there were very few if any deep balls. Since Delmas hasn't played or not 100% in the playoff game(Houston got hurt 2nd Quarter too), tons of deep balls.

i said the same thing since week one. If your a professional football team and youre starting a guy like wendling....you deserve to lose and wtf is is your front office doing??!!
