Reiff still unsigned

These guys just still arent used to seeing the puny numbers offered to rd 1 picks. Once he sees Kalils tiny contract as the #4 pick he'll have no choice but to sign whatever they give him.

I stil dont get what Kalils deal has to do with Reiff....I thought this new CBA was all about the slot you got drafted instead of that position value crap.

ya but when he sees even the #4 pick isnt making that much money he wont really have an argument. If its all slotted then im guessing the hold up is guaranteed money.

I know this is a business, but I'd love to see more of the athlete that just says, "let's get this done so I can play". They are gonna be loaded either way, and if there are suggested slotting numbers from the NFL and NFLPA, it should be a no brainer.

about time...not sure what the hold up was , the guy 2 spots underneath him got 7.4 million , the guy 2 spots above got 8.1 million...must have called in a mathmetician to figure out his deal.

How much did this slot change from before the rook cap?

i think cherilus was the 17th pick and got like 5 yrs 15 mil. But he was also slated in at RT right away. Reiff could be our LT of the future if ll works out well. Value is much higher imo and we got him for less.

I get that it's a higher value just curious what kind of money would Reiff had gotten two years ago.
