Omen to just reload the tigers maybe. They already down 3-0 in the first and rays have the bases loaded with only 1 out as starter signals to the bench come get him. he's done already.

Tigers down 4-0 after 4, and aren't hitting for shit again. I can't believe Austin Meadows has zero home rums, too bad he's not playing in this series he probably would have hit 5 in his old band box park for us.

The Rays just have a different way of doing things. They almost always turn guys that might get expensive into prospects (see Austin Meadows). They do this over and over again. If they ever had a player like Miggy or JV they would have traded them at their peak for assets. They definitely would have traded Miggy after his back to back MVPs...they would have never signed him 2 years before he hit free agency.
 
The Tigers now have not scored in the 1st inning 35 times this season.

Spencer Torkelson's first game in his major league career in which he has had multiple extra-base hits in one game. (2B, HR)
 
Yes Baez has been terrible at the plate. guy swings at anything remotely close to the plate, pitchers don't need to give him anything to hit, he gets himself out

I really wasn't a fan of Baez either but they needed a shortstop who could hit and field and he was the closest that resembled a shortstop of that caliber.
I would have wanted Seager or Story so what do I know??
