If he gets fired this season, would you want him as the Lions D Coordinator?

Wouldn't mind, just don't see them bringing him in with different philosophies and such.

Has he ever coached a 4-3? We definitely dont have the personnel for a 3-4

He's one of the more overrated coaches in the NFL. He got all the credit for having Ray Lewis and Ed Reed in their primes and then goes to NY on the heels of the team being built to compete with New England.

Now, even with the AFC playoff games to his credit, was it really his coaching or the talent on the field?

I think -- like his brother -- Rex is a coordinator, not a head coach, but I wouldn't necessarily want him coaching my team regardless.

I think the Jets keep him for some reason. I wouldnt want him near my team. He is the first one to take credit when things work and the last one to accept blame when his teams fall apart. This years team for the Jets has had some very serious injury issues but even before that they werent all that talented. I did enjoy his season on Hard Knocks though.

the salary cap finally caught up with the Jets. They just couldnt keep signing those players, then the window closed for them on a SB...not to mention there QB sucks

What say you about Greg mattison?

I always thought we'd be better as a 3-4. Suh-Hill-Fairley-Young.

Meh. Suh would do fine as a 3-4 de. Hill would need to gain like 30 lbs. Fairley....meh. Young as our matthews/ware is a sick joke lol.

Honestly just roll an eighty year old Buddy Ryan out of the nursing home.
