Riley Bullough back on defense

Can he get 'injured' at practice and get a medical redshirt? I think he only played in 3 games.

you mean except for the year that we've already wasted him at 3rd or 4th string TB...

not worried about the red shirt, we have a ton of backs in these two classes with Shelton, Holmes, Williams, Owens, London

Out of all of the names on that list I like Williams the most. I've said it before and I'll say it again, he's better than Langford.

Bullough will compete for the starting MLB spot next year with Reschke and Harris. Figured he'd end up back there.

I'm not worried about the red shirt either but he missed a year's worth of practice/development with the defense. He probably wouldn't have seen much time w/ this defense but he would have learned and developed defensively instead of wasting a year with the offense. They did the same thing with LT. It does nothing for the team, prob even hurts it a bit and its not fair to the kid either. This wasteful indecision is purely on the coaches.

Kids get moved around all the time. If Riley is anything like Max he's a football junkie and a film study animal. He's developed physically, don't think he's going to be too behind learning to play MLB. We needed a big power back, we had no idea that Williams would be ready to contribute right away. Glad we are making the decision now, he has almost a full year before he'll play any games at MLB, he spent about 8 months on offense.
