Good question Tony. Haven't heard a sound. RGIII is a quality person. The 'writer'/smuck is not. But you're right. From Madonna to Lohan, from Calypso Louie Farrakhan to 'shock jocks' we seem to be somehow drawn to idiocy. In a word, idiocy "works".

Now, when you have Colin Cowherd spend time on his radio show talking about what Parker said, it's contrived publicity bullshit and what ESPNsucks does best -- act like scripted, premeditated crap is really news or newsworthy.

Clearly Bayless is failing. Regardless of what he says or does he's on a mid morning sports talk show with incredibly low ratings ...and relies on Parker and Smiff to be his foils. Hell, Smiff has failed at everything he's tried and has no choice but to play Bayless' rube.

And you say they all suck? Hell, i agree with ya BUT they always have jobs somehow and somewhere. They're like shockjocks (mentioned already). I managed to quit ESPN altogether aside from actual games being broadcast and love it! And you are right about the "no pub is bad pub" and it's like clockwork with Bayless ...every time nobody's paying attention to him, he creates a stir.

Did you read the linked article? It's pretty spot on regarding ESPNsucks and how the channel has sold out. Plus, Bayless is a producer and no longer just a "talent" and doesn't have to worry about his ratings because he's deciding on the content.

I haven't watched anything on ESPN in years. They have MLB Network and the NFL Network and if you like the NBA and NHL they have those too plus the B1G Network. The ESPN is old and same ole same ole.
