Rockies vs Tigers, Game thread June 17

Maybe a straight steal then... You have the speed you need to use it to stay out of the DP...Tigers have hitting into DP problems..

Then you risk having Cabby intentionally walked if they nail Jackson at first with Fielder, a nice little DP guy up.

Yeah, straight steal on the pitch after 3-0 would have been okay.

Dunno how good their catcher is at throwing guys out, but it's easy to gun a guy out stealing from second to third unless the runner gets a good jump on the pitcher.

But I wouldn't mind seeing them test him.

i'm standing by my opinion that trading Avila while his value was through the roof would have been golden.

it'll be interesting to see a stat if you double steal with your slugger up to bat and no outs.

I mean, what is literally the point? A double scores both either way. A single isn't going score Berry so what literally is the point of double stealing with an all-star slugger?

If Cabby DOESN'T swing, you risk one getting out. If he hits the ball in the air, you risk a double or even triple play.

Guys can get back if it is a fly ball.. It happens all the time.. Guys are put into motion and a player swings and fly's out and the base runners get back... We hit into alot of DP's Miguel is at 12 right now.. I just disagree.. use the speed..

I wish they had traded Raburn after 2009 or 2010 after his .291, and .280 season.. His worth was as high as it may end up being. RR dipped to .256 last year.. RR needs to be in the national league.. I do worry about Alex's knees and legs..

man, could you imagine being a fan of this team right now? No Cargo or Tulo. This is literally a minor league team.

Cuddyer only has 79 career games of his 1205 at second... I like his bat but not sure he can play second much more..

Teams usually don't try and trade good, young catchers who are cheap unless you have another good, young catcher who is cheap right behind him.
