If we keep 4
Kerryon Johnson
Blount
Riddick
Tion Green

I really see no reason to keep Abdullah. Tion Green showed me more at the end of last season than Abdullah has since he's been here. To me, it seemed like the coaches were starting to phase him out the last few games of the season.

No reason to keep Abdullah. Also add a fb to that list...5 rbs minimum.

I don’t think they added Blount because they love Tion Green

Johnson
Blount
AA
Riddick
Bawden (FB)

Don't really care who they keep in so much that AA can just go, have never been a big fan of his, he gets tackled way too easily and lacks vision in the backfield.

Johnson
Blount
Green
Riddick
Bawden(FB)

AA hasn't proven that he deserves a roster spot. The reason we drafted Johnson is because AA couldn't get it done.

I don't want to lose Green because he will take over Blount's carries next year or if Blount gets hurt or busted for drugs.

AA is toast IMO.

First year -- he showed some promise after initial ball security issues.
Second year (first for Quinn) -- injured week 2...out for year.
Third year (last season) -- just didn't look like he had any burst or escapablity. Granted, OL not any help.
Fourth year -- unless he has a monster preseason, try to trade him for 3-4 kicking tees.

We'll see who wins the job in camp.

Blount and Kerryon are the big bodies. Abdullah can outperform Green, Zenner and D Washington for the last spot. And a receiving threat with Riddick too. Abdullah has talent. I think Oline health and the foot bothered him last year. We shall see what happens.

He's still pretty cheap. Give him one more shot on the last year of his rooke year. It's a contract year. You know he is going to play hard.

Mayhew is with 49ers. Maybe they want him. I know Arizona loved him.

I get that some have soured on Abdullah and I get why. But it's not like the running game was good with Green and Riddick and just soured with Abdullah in. They were all pretty underwhelming. I still think there is hope for him to have meaningful, productive carries if the O-Line gets it's shit together.

Which is due to the oline injuries and poor depth... nothing to do with running backs. You get handed the ball and run... it's not a very difficult job. Which is why I hate the idea of trading up for one 3 times in a decade lol....so dumb.

Idk bro. Green was the only one who showed a pulse in that putrid running game. Green should stay. Washington gone for sure and maybe Abdullah. Time to move on. Kerry-on my wayward son.....it's been real....

Did I?

You get handled the ball and run??? Cheez and rice bro. It's not a difficult job?? You claimed to play the game, right? Are you really this ignorant about the game?? Holy fuck lol

None of our backs recently could find a hole our line would make for them and would continuously just run into the pile... At least KJ looks to have some patience and vision which is what we seriously need IMO

My order is.

Blount
Johnson
Riddick
Fullback
Green
AA
Washington
Zenner

There is absolutely no need for Green if we have a fullback, Blount and Johnson. None.

Green is way to slow to be an RB in the NFL. He seemed to have good vision but by the time he got to where the whole should have been the defenses were on him.

The backs should be

1. Blount
2. Johnson
3. AA
4. Riddock
5. FB

I cant see them cutting Ameer seeing his cap number is really low and we wouldnt save that much and no one will trade for him. But I really dont see what role he may have on the team.

I agree with your list. I might put Riddick above AA in terms of usefulness, just for his pass-catching abilities. But if we are talking about purely their running abilities, I can't argue with how you ordered them.

Blount is on a 1 yr deal...
Who even says this Bawden kid makes the team?
Green was the only RB on this team last yr that showed a pulse.
Saying all that, I can see them possibly cutting him. Only because I don't see where he fits in on the offense. That's no knock on him either. It's more of a fit thing IMO. Can he be the #3? What's going to happen with Abdullah or Riddick? Keep one of those guys and Green will probably be the #4. Are we keeping 5 RBs? A lot of questions but to say there's no need for him on the roster is ridiculous. He was clearly the best RB on the roster last yr. Even if it was a small sample size...

Johnson Riddick blount... that's all you need on the roster. In that order.
