Only 2 teams have more rushing td's than the Lions this year. NE has 18, Houston has 15 and we are tied with Washington with 13....all of those teams have at least 80 more rushing attempts than us.

Just a useless, mildly surprising stat.

Nobody scored a rushing TD on Houston this year. Lions got 2 yesterday.

Justin Forsett had a 17 YPC average yesterday. But 74 of those yards were pure garbage when he wasn't called down.

teams typically bracket our outside WRs inside the 10. That takes 4 people. which means theres usually only 7 in the box vs the run. You should be able to run on a 7 man front inside the 10....and they did a decent job doing that this year. Il go out on a limb but im guessing NE HOU and WAS probably got a good handful of those outside the 10. Bells TD yesterday is the first one i can remember this year that we actually broke free for a long gain and a TD.

We haven't had a gain over 20 yards on the ground until yesterday when Bell had 2 on the same drive. LeShoure and Bell are decent workhorses though and can move pile. They are strong enough to deal with the Lioins poor run blocking but they are a tad too slow to deal with the Lions poor run blocking. The loss of Best really hurt this team and it's unfortunate. They were able to adjust some but at other times it's glaring. They need to find a diamond in the rough speed back though because DE, safety and possibly CB need to be drafted early.

ya....although we dont always draft what we need lol. I wanted cyrus Gray in the 4th round of last years draft....thought hed be solid quick back out of the backfield if best couldnt go :/ Sad to think lamichael james just sits deactivated every week.

It didnt work against GB...1st and goal on the 8...ran twice.....no gains...

ya...we didnt do much of anything good that game lol. But that would make me not a fan for saying that. Cause if youre a fan....youre not allowed to think your team sucks. Someone on here made that rule up.

I do remember during the game when Foster rushed for his first td they said that was his 11th rushing TD on the year...and like 8 of them where from less than 4 yards out.

K so that's 4, plus the 80 yarder, plus all of tates from earlier this year. Just guessing but that's atleast 7 or 8. We have 1...
