not going to sign the tender right away...wants to test the market.
 
I'm not sure there'll be a bunch of teams who will give up a 4th AND front-load his contract. 4th isn't much, but he's not THAT good. Still should've given him the 2nd round tender, but I'd be a little surprised if he's gone. The draft is absolutely STACKED with DTs

find me a DT in this draft in the 4th round better then SLH.

he isn't going to command an astrnomical contract either.

odds are he stays here...but him just wanting to test the market means his agent told him there could be interest.

"he isn't going to command an astrnomical contract either." Thats the point. Who's giving up a 4th AND a huge contract? The Lions would match any reasonable deal. It's not ideal since they're up against the cap but they'll find room.

Still agree, they should've given him a 2nd.
