Double dose of branden dawson. The dunk off the tip and a lob from Valentine were the co #1 plays

That guy has special athleticism. Would make a great TE.

He has ZERO offensive game, however, and has no future in the NBA without developing one. Basically, he is the SF version of Kelvin Torbert.

The NBA drafts on potential and he certainly has that. But I agree, if whoever drafts him isn't able to develop his offensive game he won't see any playing time.

Torbert actually his senior year was a pretty respectable 3 point shooter. But he otherwise didn't have a ton in his arsenal. He didn't have a scorer's mentality and wasn't very good at getting to the basket even with that athleticism. Weak ball handling skills.

As for Dawson, players with his kind of strength and athleticism can find a niche in the NBA. Jason Maxiell has managed to do just that even as an undersized power forward. He's an inch taller than Dawson though and has long arms. Harder to do that at the 3 with zero offensive game.

I guess I should clarify my comment on Dawson. He could find himself on an NBA roster, no doubt. His potential will see to that. As for actually playing. No. Not right now. He can defend the 3.....and would be more athletic than ANYONE (except LBJ) he would go up against. But he cant handle the ball at all. Has no feel for an offense. Can't shoot. Would be a complete liability on half the floor.

I would love to see him put pads on. If he could catch at all he would be a massive mismatch for any LB or S.
