Dude, when every mother fucking thing that happens in this country is called a conspiracy by Alex Jones, he loses his credibility. Seriously, look into this. Every mass shooting, Ebola, etc event is called a false flag by that moron. I called this conspiracy theory as soon as he died.

The fact that the guy wasn't given an autopsy means nothing. He was nearly 80 years old and in poor health...why would an autopsy be needed? My grandparents didn't get autopsies. The cause of death was obvious. It's only conservatives who question this and only nutcases like Jones that make it into something more.

“It’s not unreasonable to ask for an autopsy in this case, particularly knowing who he is,” retired Brooklyn homicide Detective Patricia Tufo told The Post.

“He’s not at home. There are no witnesses to his death, and there was no reported explanation for why a pillow is over his head,” Tufo said. “So I think under the circumstances it’s not unreasonable to request an autopsy. Despite the fact that he has pre-existing ailments and the fact that he’s almost 80 years old, you want to be sure that it’s not something other than natural causes.”


Bill Ritchie, a retired deputy chief and former head of criminal investigations for the DC police, said he was dumbstruck when he learned that no autopsy would be performed.

“I took a look at the report and I almost fell out of my chair,” Ritchie told The Post from his home in Maryland.

“I used to be an instructor in the homicide school. Every death investigation you are handling, you consider it a homicide until the investigation proves otherwise,” Ritchie said.

“How do you know that person wasn’t smothered? How do you know it’s not a homicide until you conduct an investigation? You have to do your job. Once you go through that process, you can conclude that this is a naturally occurring death.”

Presidio County Judge Cinderela Guevara said she declared Scalia dead via telephone based on what cops and marshals at the scene told her — that there were no signs of foul play.

“How in the world can that Texas judge, not even seeing the body, say that this is a heart attack?” Ritchie wondered. “A US marshal can’t tell you. You need a medical professional. If this was Joe Blow, you say OK, 79 years of age, health problems, maybe natural causes. But this is a sitting justice of the Supreme Court!”

Guevara also spoke by phone with Scalia’s physician, who told her Scalia had several chronic medical conditions and had gone to the doctor’s last week for a shoulder problem, reports say.

Scalia’s family did not want an autopsy, she added.

The whole pillow over his head thing is being overdone. It was not over his face, it was flat against the headboard, higher than his head.

I have read so many comments (other places) that he was smothered, but if that were the case he would have struggled. There were no signs of a struggle, there was no petechia reported. Lets not forget that there was no autopsy demanded by his family either.

Sometimes old men die in bed, the lucky ones anyways.

When I heard there was no autopsy, I figured it was some weird Catholic thing & he and his family get that kind of treatment because of who they are.

The more BS thing is that he was a guest of the ranch owner, along with a bunch of other undisclosed big wigs, and the owner of the ranch had just had case come up before the Supreme Court, which the court had declined to hear. the reporting on this was pretty poor so it's not clear if the denial benefitted the owner or not, but it's still bullshit.

both Scalia and Thomas have done a lot of shady stuff outside the court, and done a poor job of explaining what is - at best - the appearance of impropriety. have a little dignity... youre a Supreme Court justice for fucks sake. you don't need a free trip to a ranch in Texas where you can die imagining youre a cowboy. you couldve done that in your own bed.

Hmmm... that seems reasonable. An imaginary man in the sky somehow gave a 79-year-old man a fatal heart attack so that people who live in the same area as that old man will vote another man the imaginary man likes (but whom most of the people hate) to be their leader for 4 years.
