This is a pretty awesome video. I've never seen a coach break down a play before, it's nice to hear his view on things and what exactly the goal is on every play. On that last play it did look like Calvin was open for a split second, but obviously he drew a lot of attention and it prob wasn't worth trying to force on into him. Stafford realized this and made the smart play, sealing the W. It's decisions like this that made those 3 first half INTS so confusing. Stafford is one of the smarter QBs in the league and makes the correct play the vast majority of the time. Let's hope that we see more of that Stafford next week against SF.

2 of the picks were great film study by the Rams...they jumped both routes and said they had studied Stafford at nauseum on film and picked up on tendencies.

Yea that is true. I was surprised he went for the same back shoulder pass twice though, especially after it had just gotten picked off. But fisher def. did a good job teaching his DBs what Stafford liked to do.

Using finnegan to cover the slot for 5 yards then peel off and bracket the outside was an amazing adjustment. Stafford almost read the coverage too fast and threw it out to the flat. If he makes his read any slower he sees the slot reciever running the slant become wide open once finnegan leaves. cant really fault stafford for that....its just a great scheme from fischer.
