I'm sick of hearing all of you whining bitches complain about the refs!

what, we don't have legit reasons? don't read the threads if it bothers u.

I love that you give 2 time super bowl winning player harrison as an example lol.

I guess the refs and the nfl just failed twice.

what is so hard to comprehend? Not saying games are fixed, but that there is a bias that influences what refs see and call when they are supposed to be impartial.

When a team or player is known for penalties, its going to happen.

If a guy with a criminal record and a guy with a clean record are in a store when something is stolen. Who you gonna think did it?

doesn't make it right, does it? so clean guy rightfully gets to steal while dirty guy who is actually innocent deserves to go to jail in your world...got it

Aww the poor former criminal :,( what a tough world.

So you're looking for a babysitter and there's a girl more qualified than the rest, but is an ex con. You hire her?

Don't break the rules and you won't have a problem

problem is that other teams are breaking rules and not being called. if it is a penalty, call it! never said don't flag it, just flag without bias. refs not flagging teams who play lions for something lions get flagged on is biased.

Exactly, thats the problem. You admit they aren't calling the games even. A penalty is a penalty no matter who commits it.

I agree. But when your known for get flagged a lot, refs watch more closely.

It also seems like detroit gets it worse because your bias. To me, it looked like the lions held the packers Wrs almost every play on thanksgiving. There's no point in getting mad when there's nothing you can do.

You make it sound like the league has it out for the lions. And I just don't see why they would.

I understand the lions have a rep (right or wrong) for penalties...but if they are watching Suh more closely how do they not see the times hes being held?

In the Lions/Packers game..when the lions got a roughing the passer call (it was offset by a packers penalty), that was a clean as of a hit on a Rodgers as you can get, yet since its Rodgers it was a roughing the passer. Do you think they would of called it if it was Vick out there?

Its just sickening how nonuniform they make calls in the NFL. If you're a probowl lineman you seem to get away with holds more. Revis is a physical and the best corner in the league, he gets the benefit of the doubt on a lot of plays.

There are bad calls that go against every team, the lions got away with a facemask on Joe webb at the end of the game.

However there is no denying the fact that more calls tend to go against the same teams over and over again. It's just sad that the "good" teams get more calls, they don't need the calls to win, but yet they get them.

I mean how does Charles Woodson, uppercut a player, refs see it..and doesn't get thrown out?

Sports in general just isn't as good as it use to be. Nfl's rules are idiotic. Boxing has died. Baseball isn't the same. Nba is a joke. College ball all seems to be paid for.

Everything period isn't as good anymore. Music, cartoons, movies.

Too many sensitive people. And kids (even my age) have way to much say in things. Bieber and GaGa should not be winning a damn thing.

I wish I was born in tthe 70's or 80's

the roughing the passer call on Harrison in the 4th quarter yesterday was a horseshit call...I dont care if Harrison was a 3 time convicted axe murderer , that call was horseshit.

I think its "wtf, now"? I few years ago the refs would all blow the whistle right away, too early. But they changed that and now let it play out and make the call after. But after Brees was hit, they use that time to now have a quick whistle? Wtf. If I was more into conspiracy theories I'd think the ref blew the whistle early to help the Saints.

The refs weren't respopnsible for this loss. The defense stunk! The D line and linebackers couldn't tackle. I don't know how many times the saints ran for 7-9 yards on first down after contact was made near the line of scrimmage. Pathetic defense!

I'm glad you finally posted, we got the dumbass point of view into the discussion.

1. Fumble blown dead. Total screw up all the way around, even the NFL has publicly said so. If called correctly from the get go, Lions likely go up 21-7.

2. After Saints go ahead, Lions get called for holding but Saints don't get flagged for ripping off TY's head after he caught the pass on the sideline. Should have been a penalty, off-setting, replay the down. This drive was extremely important for the Lions to go down and answer the Saints TD. Instead they face 3rd and 19(?) instead of 2nd and 9 replayed. Not saying Lions were going to score, but the momentum shift was huge.

3. Lack of any holding call on NO offense meant they had a firm grip - pun intended - against the Lions in the 2nd half.

Yes the defense lost the game, but don't try to say the refs had no impact on it. Critical momentum swinging moments are screwed up and Lions get screwed over AGAIN. It isn't the first, won't be the last, but it is beyond ridiculous.

No...the point of view from a fan that is not a total homer. Every game there are bad calls...both ways. I never said that there weren't any. I am just sick and tired of all of the Lions homers that think the bad calls only go against the Lions. The refs could have gotten every call right and the Lions still lose this game by double digits. The fucking front seven couldn't tackle and the DBs couldn't cover! Some of these whiney bitches need to look at this team and put the blame where it belongs...on the defense....not the refs!

We're not allowed to vent after a playoff loss? That's all we're doing. Not interesting in hearing it, stage left.
