I have been a fan of his since he got to Detroit, but this team has climaxed with him as coach. This team is too talented to be 2-4 at this point in the season. They had a god season last year and we were supposed to improve upon that season but we have regressed. I was happier watching the 0-16 team because they at least tried and had an excuse for making bad plays. This team has no excuse for the mental mishaps. I never thought Leshoure would never fumble but that play last night cost us a chance at points right before the half and that is not Jim's fault but it is his fault for putting a fat-ass in at the goalline who tries to leap from the five yard line. That fumble I believe cost us the game, and that was the coaches fault.

I think Jim is a good coach but I think he has done all he can with this team. It is time to move on and find someone who can take this thing to the next level.

He just got a new contract at the start of the year I highly doubt he is going anywhere.

he needs to hold players and coaches accountable.. He does not seem to know how to do that..

LeShoure and Bell fumbled. Bell was used after LeShorue fumble in the redzone. So there was accountability but then the 2nd guy fumbled. Would you have liked to see Kevin Smith?

Because they wanted to scream at Leshoure and couldn't they were hoping Schwartz would do it the entire game on camera. Anything less and he should be fired.

I would rather see Kevin Smith in that situation than Bell. Smith is serviceable and Bell is an unknown. I understand that you are mad at Leshoure but dont blow the game and not give him a chance. Fuck, put Bell in at fullback, or Reiff for that matter. Putting Bell in the game in that situation was a mistake and it cost us a chance to win the game. Our season ended last night. What position will we take with our top five pick???

What is it gonna take for Schwartz to hold these guys to a higher standard? This team plays so reckless and immature. I feel like I'm watching "when sesame street goes wrong" every week. I need a break from this team this sunday before I lose my mind. After they keep the notion alive of being an undisciplined mess of a terrible team, I'll tune back in next sunday, at which point I won't care how the season turns out because this one is a wrap.

Who actually looks beatable with the remaining teams on the schedule? The jags and ONLY the jags?..............

Just said that he said has not lost faith in logan and supports him 100%

Unfuckingbelievable. When is he gonna hold these ass clowns responsible?

And Andy Reed told the media that Juan Castillo was safe the day before firing him.

Frankly hvn't we had enough of the constant every 3 years or so revolving door of coaching overhauls. Perhaps that's part of the problem?

It's a game of adjustments and the O isn't making them quick enough. Did everyone catch some of those comments Gruden was making last night? he's was spot on with all that shxt

So Linehan, Schwartz and Stafford need to go? Who else, I thought someone posted about trading CJ.

The 49ers got a new coach and went from a doormat to the NFC championship game.....with a shitty QB. I agree with you about the adjustments. Also, the offense is too vanilla.

coaches are on a perpetual one game contract regardless of any official contract they may have signed. i'm not saying they will get rid of schwartz, but the only binding part of a coach's contract is amount if they get fired before contract ends. since that has nothing to do with player salary cap, the only thing stopping a coach being fired before ending the contract is the out clause, but it happens every year throughout the league.

season is not over. they only have 4 losses. it is still theoretically possible to win the rest of the games and go 12-4. you are not out of the playoffs until you are officially eliminated. granted it is a very difficult uphill climb, but this team seems to perform better when their backs are to the wall, maybe it improves their focus, motivation, and determination. we all wish that wasn't the case, but there it is.

Wasn't there talk on last year, before he got an extension, that he should get an extension?

This season is very much over, I hope it is not, but we all know it is. They need to get rid of Linehan if they have another slow start. I cant remember who said it but why are we trying to balance the offense? We need to throw the ball like last year. They had two deep safeties last year as well and we were still successful throwing the ball. Something is wrong with Staff, he has to be hurting somewhere, he has not looked this bad since his rookie year. He is missing wide open guys but it doesnt help that the ones he does get there are dropped. I think he is still a top QB in this league but he is either hurt or lost his gunslinger mentality.

Shut up.

Gee, maybe they should just forfeit the remaining games since the season is "very much over".
