Shaun Hill and Lions Cant Come To Terms

idk....seems like a lot of QB's looking for #2 work...how many spots are really open?

I agree....with t e cap basically the same as 2011.......always have Drew as a cheaper option....oh shit, did I say that

I don't want Drew either. Not too worried about backup QB's -- there are many to choose from.

Henne, Orton, V Young, McNabb?...
you have 3 new starters coming in the draft.....Flynn in FA makes 4
a lot of QB's taken in the last few years of the draft

V.Y. completed 57.9 percent of his passes for 866 yards and an ugly 4:9 TD-to-INT ratio in three fill-in starts.

Benched by three teams in three seasons, McNabb's best bet for finding work would be to embrace a backup/mentoring role. That's not going to happen, though, as McNabb emphasized this week that his top priority is "competing" for a starting job. Borderline delusional, McNabb has struggled with accuracy, mobility, arm strength, mechanics, commitment level, and conditioning over the past couple of years.

Free agent Shaun Hill is planning to test the open market.
Re-signing Hill was a priority for the Lions, but the sides remained "far enough apart on a new deal" late Monday that Hill has decided to gauge his value on the open market. A career backup, Hill performed well in the absence of Matthew Stafford in 2010, completing 257-of-416 passes for 2,686 yards, 16 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in parts of 11 games. He could land a deal that pays him like one of the league's upper echelon backups
