Slay has knee surgery after all

I am actually glad he went through with the surgery. My concern was if he hadnt gotten it done it may have gotten reaggravated during training camp then had surgery and missed more time.

Now its done and he should be in great shape when camp starts.

Said he would be ready to go for the rookie camp coming up, guess not.

I'm not too worried about the injury but its been the plan all along. 2nd RD picks needs to have some sort of injury history for us to draft.

Only going off the westbrook injury but i think they said no srugery recovery is like 3-4 weeks. If you have the surgery its like 4-6 weeks. He should be ready for the start of the season if there are no set backs.

God damn, sometimes everyone acts like if we were offered AP for a 7th no one would take it.

lol..the more and more you really analyze injuries...you have to come to the realization that it's football..a super physical game..and almost everyone has been injured at one point or another...the only ones that are scary to take to me anymore are the ones with a myriad of college injuries..stafford is a perfect example..never an injury in his life..then is injured so much...now hasn't been seriously injured in 2 years..despite passing the ball like a maniac..it's unpredictable

Slight difference in proven performance between them, don't you think?

I'm not too concerned though. Have to figure Berry starts the season and we just have to hope he survives a few weeks before getting injured so Slay can heal Moe and get more practice in. Now, when he goes down after a few weeks we hopefully have Greenwood up to speed and he can rotate in, then when be goes down we can go with Green. Hopefully by the time he is injured one of the other guys will be back and we can slot him in.

And that should get us to the Bye week...maybe.

Who is Berry? Getting your years confused?

But he has an injury history!

AP has demonstrated more NFL talent in his dingleberries than Slay, don't ya think? Now if we are talking about AP at the "Emmitt Smith going to the Cardinals" end of his career in a few years, then maybe...maybe we would be against giving up that R7 pick. Of course Mayhew would still trade a R2 pick to get him, but that would just be a wash since his R2 pick would be injured anyway and no one would know a thing about future playing ability. Par for the course.
