Yep, good game by Slay. Just bitching about how these corners never force turnovers and NEVER look for the ball before that game. At least Slay proved me wrong, even though he was kind of my exclusion from my comment anyway. Hopefully these corners start making some plays on a weekly basis.

Am I the only one that thinks that Slay should get in a few reps on offense too? Just as a wide receiver. He clearly has the ball skills and the speed. It would be mostly as a decoy, but we don't have anybody on the offensive side of the ball that has the kind of speed of that Slay has!

Maybe 3-5 reps a game.

Just a thought.

Nah, no reason to throw him into a situation where he could get wrecked. He's used to being the one doing the tackling, not the one being tackled. I think Jones and Tate are pretty fast, are they not? Believe they both run a 4.4 40.

In no way, shape or form does Tate run anywhere close to 4.4. Maybe when he came out....by he's probably in the 4.6 to 4.7 range now.

Jones might run a 4.5 or so.

Fair enough. I just think they have enough speed options potentially with Jones, Riddick. You can always find those slot guys that run fast. I would just not rather see a guy like him thrown into the fire as he has zero experience doing it.
