100,000 folks in open air stadium on national tv

wouldn't be a bad target

apparently concern about truck and car bombs being possible

i know - it was early this morning
then got past it

then one of our field photographers mentioned a similar thought more in could it be done mode (he thought like driving up to the tunnel)
then i read there is concern about truck and car bombs hence the blocking main street at stadium and main

like i said it was moment and i am over it now

I'm sure they will be hyper-vigalent about security at and around the stadium this weekend.

i am sure they will be - i think it was just in reactino to the alerts for NYC and DC

The fact that it is a big hole in the ground helps. Not that a car bomb couldn't do terrible harm...there will be crowds all over the place.

...maybe that's played a role in closing Main Street.

Old people.... Quit watching Fox News. You will be just fine. ** Fixed for you Red..

I'm not old enough to quite watch it yet.

What does Fox New have to do with anything? It's the 10 year anniversary of the most horrific terrorist attack this country has ever seen. People being sensitive about it have reasons. Maybe that makes me "old".

the day before 9/11? Besides the terrorists pay tuition for their nieces and nephews go to school in ann arbor.

If I got blown up watching Michigan beating Notre Dame in the first ever night game at the big house...I would die happy.

Never thought about this shit before I was a parent.....now I probably think about it more than I should

I might stay away from Fed / Govt offices around tax time....but i sure as hell won't give in to fear for something like this.

Only if Michigan is winning at the time.... But lets hope everyone is safe and Michigan scores 7 TD's tomorrow.
