obviously, as with everything else, size is an issue. Others who have jerseys, the authentic ones, how are the sizes? Should I drive down and try some on? I notice on mden, they have s, m, and L. What is up with that?

I'm looking at getting the jersey from the ND-UM game with the #21 on it.

Anybody with any advice?

Why is size an issue? Either way I've noticed that the jerseys, being jerseys, run pretty big. I usually wear a Large shirt but I have a medium jersey and it fits nicely.

Under the Lights jerseys are only available in #16 ...unless you special order, so you won't find a #21 (not yet, anyways) on/at MDen.

And FWIW, my son has a "M" in the traditional jersey and my buddy bought the UTL jerseys for his boys and the "S" were bigger than my son's "M"

Yeah, I'm looking at the custom jersey. The mden online store says that only M is available for the #16 jersey. I usually wear 2XL in everything. I know that jerseys usually fit differently than normal shirts, though, so I that's why I was wondering. I'm probably going to have to take a road trip and try some on.

I'm 6'2 220 and my Barry reebok throwback is a medium... It's getting a little more snug ( not that bad ) now that I've put on weight. I would probably wear a large now. An XL Sounds like it would work for you..

I think the new Adidas jersey run bigger than the Nike jerseys did.

The kids jerseys certainly seem that way and my Adidas Away jersey is a fair amount bigger than my BREASTON #15 I wore the other night, which is the same size.

(Some clown heckled me and said, "Nice Mallett jersey." I replied, "it's Grbac dumbass!!"

His buddy laughed

lol Mallet is the only player ever to wear 15..

.... and for the record, it's actually a BREASTON #15 but I'd take Grbac over Mallett too

so a Large might be ok, but I might need an XL, which isn't offerred on the internet site. I wonder why? I guess i could call them.

It was a feeding frenzy on Friday afternoon at MDen on State --- I had to actually leave and go outside, it was so hot and crowded. My buddy's wife temporarily put down the two kids jerseys and had to fight off two other parents who tried to grab them up.

I can only imagine how much $$ MDen did on Sunday ....

Mden is always sold out and it takes them forever to get anything back in stock like at the end of the season. Hungry I would go with an XL.

i can verify that the adidas jerseys run larger than the nike ones. I have both the nike jersey from 2004 and the adidas one from 2008 and the new one for 2011. Both adidas jerseys run much bigger than the nike ones. I am 6'2 250 and the XL is way big on me. I definitely think you should go with a large if you dont plan on dropping 20lbs any time soon. It will likely big on you, but thats good if you want to throw a hoody on underneath. (nota bene this is for the regular game jersey NOT the UTL jersey, however, knowing adidas, their sizes run the same across the board for jerseys).

another good website is www.footballfanatics.com

so I wonder if I can get it with a legacy patch or buy a legacy patch and get it sewn on.

I have a #10 Michigan jersey made by TEAM Apparel that's XL and it's nowhere near too big; on top of that, as a previous poster noted, there's supposed to be a little room to wear something underneath.

I normally XL in everything.

If I were you I would be cautious of going smaller than 2XL if that's what you normally wear.

As I'm re-reading these threads, I see guys posting that Adidas runs bigger than Nike - I think Team Apparel might be Nike; maybe the Under the Lights Jersey is Adidas - if that's the case, maybe disregard my previous post, ha ha...

Well, good news. I just got told by the mrs that we're heading down to AA on sept 23 (for her birthday.) I'll use this oppurtunity to go try on different jerseys. How fortuitous!!

We just love the food at The Real Seafood Co. and the birthday deal. You make reservations and tell them its your birthday, show them your ID, birthday person gets free dinner AND free desert AND its practically right next to the MDen. You can't beat that.

Happy birthday to the Mrs., and I was noticing a little while ago that the 23rd is a notable date for me this year, as Ann Arbor Pioneer High (my high school) takes on Ann Arbor Skyline High (which would have been my high school had it been around in my day) in football.

I don't think I'm gonna be making it back for the game, though...
