I thought about going to the game with my son for a bit but scheduling conflicts with kids' sports and school events quickly put that to rest. Probably better given the chance that we lose this game and if we win, it's not like it will be one of those wins you remember forever like beating undefeated OSU on the road late in the season. So instead of 8 hours in the car over 2 days, I'll be watching this one from the couch.

Hard to know what to expect, MSU is clearly better than expected but prone to mistakes and this will be our toughest test yet. It's a rebuilding team vs. a team on the rise. BC gave mizzou everything they could handle on the road, but how real is Mizzou? They kinda remind me of a poor man's penn st - not as hyped up or as consistently hyped up as the nittany kittens but like penn st, over-hyped when they are getting attention. Are they the paper Tigers or was that a respectable loss to a really good team?

If it's the latter, I don't like our chances. It's the former, it's an opportunity for a resume building performance. I'm not making any predictions, of course I want a win but either way, I want to see them compete. If they lose, I hope it's not because of turnovers & penalties. It's nice to be excited for kick off, a feeling we haven't had in awhile except for the Kenneth Walker year. Go Green!

If Chiles gets his accuracy under control, he's gonna be a great one. But right now, man does he miss some.

Marsh and Glover are both out with injuries. Awesome
Sucks. Doesn’t help that Gates Jr & Brown out as well. Marsh and Glover are bigger losses but we w/ 4 out we’re left with foster who so far this year I’d describe as mediocre.

Would be nice if Carter could bounce a busted up-the-middle play like that to the outside.

Chiles missed another walk in td. Gotta start hitting those
He has a gun but he needs to realize he doesn’t need to throw frozen ropes downfield. Esp since foster is not elite. Put some air under it and let foster catch up to it.

That was a great throw and catch there though!!!!!

Wtf Carter? Who told you to stutter step there then run into the defender?

He’s just so sporadic. Makes a couple great plays with his arm and feet then makes a terrible throw. I know it’s raining but c’mon.

It’s not helping that the run game is putting us in 3rd and long in pouring rain.

Again, Chiles with a great run for a first and follows that up with throwing it right to a defender.

Chiles is seeing everything in terms of the rush and extending plays w/ his feet. Finding open guys. If he could make more accurate throws we’d be rolling.

Much better than I anticipated. A bad pick and some missed throws left points on the field and a blown drive ending tackle led to a BC TD. We’re losing the mistakes battle but leading by 7 at half. Could definitely be worse.

If the mistakes continue, it will be tough to hold on but if they can flip the script on errors, we have a good chance.

Beyond stupid. Why are they allowed to take the ball out of the end zone?
