Yeah, he was cut today.

I'd take Spiller over Forsett.....fits the offense much better.

Anything to get JBC to stop giving Zenner the ball on slow developing counters and stretch runs. ZZ has the vision of a cross eyed bat.

Jones has a crush on McFadden. He wouldn't let him go when they had Murray and even after they drafted Elliot. I'd be surprised if you get a fair deal there.

Zenner is not a better RB than either of those guys.

What Forsett showed in his games with the Lions is that he just doesn't have it anymore.

At least with Spiller or McFadden you have some potential of a home run threat.

I didnt watch the entire game closely, but I seem to recall a few pretty good runs with Forsett last game. He didnt break any long ones, but I think he had a few solid 6-10 yard gains. I dont consider him the answer to the RB position, but I dont think either Spiller or McFadden are either.

Spiller is a poor mans Theo Riddick at this point in his career, and Riddick will be back sometime soon, making Spiller unecessary. McFadden is injury prone so it would be foolish to 1) give any assets to trade for him, 2) cut someone elsewhere to make room for him, when he is at best slightly better than Forsett, and at worst, injured and not playing.

Lions should just roll with Dewayne Washington, Forsett, and Zenner this week, and hope Riddick comes back after the bye week.

Agreed, I don't want to see either of those guys here.

But I'm just commenting that Zenner is not as good as McFadden or Spiller, and probably never will. He's just a somewhat tough runner that doesn't do anything well. At least with the other guys you have some threat.

i hate zenner. He can run straight ahead for 5 yards if there is a huge hole and no one touches him. So can my dead grandma.
