I just got an email

The spring game is going to be April 14th and the Big House Big Heart run is going to be April 15th.

Sucks that I'll have to drive to AA twice in 2 days and I always look for other reasons to drive to AA like hitting whole foods. There won't be much point in going to that store 2 days in a row.

I'll probably be tailgating for and attending another spring game and running in the 5k race on that sunday.

I might be doing both. I looked into the 5K after you mentioned it last time and that would be pretty cool. My wife will be looking to get back into running after she gives birth one of these weeks, and that might be a good target for a first race. Probably an aggressive target for the average woman coming off a pregnancy but she's pretty crazy.

Now I just have to start running again...

I don't do the big house big heart for a good race time, just a good time in general...

the course isn't really that great of a course for speed. THere are a lot of hill climbs and a shit-ton of people to try to weave through, so you're not going to get a great time. Even looking at the winning marks, those times for this run are always larger than a lot of races I've won. I think the winning time was 16 minutes last year and i've run in races near Lansing where people run sub 15's. WIth the field being even larger for the Big House run, you'd think there would be some better times, but this isn't the case. A factor in this might be the heat and the hills. It always seems like its around 80 for the race when they hold it in the fall.

Cool, that's pretty much what I was assuming. Should be a nice way to ease in, with a neat atmosphere. My wife loves hills, I'll have to let her know.

they will also do men's lacrosse game at the big house before te spring game
