from Dombrowski on down, fire everyone.... the way the whole system just accepts losing, and then having the players doing their soul-train dances after a win. even keel

fire Kaline as well, he's stood by and watched this jackass Leyland, and never says a God Damn word about it.

I wouldn't miss the following people: Diabeetus Delmon, Mudhen Rugburn Shinebox, Smokey, Big Dummy Lamont, and last but absolutely least Legendary Loser Llyod.

You're a whiney little pageant girl aren't you?? My 9 year old has more maturity than you do.

You won't be missed.

Would be nice to at least have a GM that knows how to build an organization from top to bottom.

I wish I didn't see this. how do we know Kaline doesn't say anything? or Horton?

I wish DD and the scouting/drafting staff would go for higher ceiling position players the past few years. and for him not to talk to us like we're stupid, selling this defense will be ok, and staying with the usual suspects/hacks.

At some point in time all this loyalty with Leylands best friends has to go out the door, this is what pisses off Tigers fans, lloyd, lamont, they don't wait as long with the pitching coach from last year, and bring back a 3 time? retread in Jones,
We all know, Young, Raburn, and waiting months for them to hit, and in the mean time complete rally killers, and poor defense, add the completely screwed up swing, defense, and emotional wreck of Boesch, letting 2B turn into a 'black hole' for more than a year, and this is where DD and the rest of them have failed imo.
Even for a deadline deal, they usually aren't big deals, more complimentary.
House cleaning should happen end of the year, no matter how much improvement from now to end of the season.

Yeah Lamont hasn't got on base in soooo long and when was the last time Lloyd hit a three run bomb? Feels like a lifetime. It's definitely not the players that suck.

39-42, that's what we are, and that's what we should be. Average team. Our roster is not all that good, we have 1 great hitter(Cabby), and 2 very good ones (Jackson and Fielder). No one else on this roster is all that good, sure a few have had career seasons or hot stretches in the recent past, but none of them has proven to be much more than they are over their careers. We have a #1 pitcher and 3 number 3 or 4 pitchers. The Bullpen is decent now.

The worst part is this, I look at the White Sox roster right now, and it's top to bottom as good or better than us right now. They have more proven players on their team than we do IMO. They could run away with the Central if we don't get it in gear soon. The lineups we march out every game just aren't that good of major league lineups, period. I mean, they've all had their moments, but Berry, Boesch, Perralta, Santiago, Raburn, and even Avila and Dirks aren't the core of a championship team IMO. Neither are Fister, Porcello, and Scherzer. Jackson, Cabrera, Fielder, and Verlander, those are the good players we have, outside of the BP, the rest of the team is average to below average.

Leyland has been bad for sure, but for the 1st time I am looking directly at Dave Dombrowski for assembling a team of overpaid mid level Major league players. It's no longer the most talented team in its own division much less top 5 in baseball IMO. On top of that, it's now more clear than ever that our farm system is decimated.

This team is not put together very well and the farm system is garbage. DD is mostly to blame for this garbage. I would start right there.

Saying Kaline needs to go is just dumb. Complete and utterly dump.

The amount of dumb in this thread is pretty staggering.

I agree with almost everything you say. Look at the Tigers defensively. Other than Jackson I think every single position is below average or well below average defensively. (well, maybe Avila is average). None of the infielders have good range and the corner IF are towards the bottom of the league defensively. The two corner OF may be the two worst in baseball. There is nobody waiting in the wings in the minors. The way this current team has performed and the lack of talent in the farm the best thing for the long term success of this franchise may be to blow it up and start to re-build?????

dumb rhymes with thumb and you can stick both up your ass, you don't know shit about baseball and never will, if anyone says the most stupidest shit, it's you, so shut your fucking pie hole about other posters.

lol

This coming from a guy who never posts anything about baseball that does not involve, or exist entirely of the words "Fire Leyland!".

Also kudos on using the phrase "most stupidest shit", your 4th grade English teacher must be proud.

I meant no disrespect to you by saying Al should step down. Growing up Kaline was my favorite player as well. he not only played the game the way it was supposed to be played, but he was also the perfect gentleman off the field.but at age 77 he might be seeing these new players as "a sight for sore eyes".
