Based on the opinion of 26 "insiders", GMs, Cordinators, coaches etc.
Heard it on the radio, believe it's posted on ESPN.

Staff was in the bottom of the Tier 2 guys.
Received 0 tier 1, 17 tier 2, 8 tier 3, and I'm assuming 1 tier 4.

Ahead of Cam, Foles and Colin. I think 13th is about right, I had him in that 13-16 range. I think Foles is better. Colin and Cam can be Bette or worse, those two and Staff are the most inconsistent QBs.

Sounds about right. I listed who I would take before him, and he was about 10 on my list.

"There's a feeling among evaluators that Stafford, more than any other QB outside the top five, has the talent to ascend into the first tier. He is arguably the most intriguing starter in the league."

He will be top 5. Top 5 passer per PFF in 2013. Very good QB. Can't wait for 2014 to shut some people up.

No one is arguing that LKP. We know he has the talent to be good.

But it's one thing to have talent, and another to use it He hasn't. And we don't know if he ever will. If he's not a breakthrough player next year, it's time to start considering other options.

He has used it. 29 TDs, 6th in 3rd down, moves the ball incredibly well. Only 12 ints his fault so low int rate despite high attempts. High attempts due to many first downs converted. You underate what he does for Detroit despite a lack of number 2 or 3 or speedy TE. He doesn't get the turnover support, he didn't get run game support in last 11 of 2011, most games 2012 or for 6 games in 2013. Stafford is a very good QB. The difficulty of their job is not the same for all QBs.

Don't forget about leading the league in injuries AND drop passes like 4 out of the last 5 years

He has tools, that's why he was a #1 overall. He just has yet to show consistency. You keep talking potential, everyone else talks about What happens. He's got a very good Oline, the best WR in the game, a good tandem in the backfield, it will be hard to fail this year. I've said all year if he accepts responsibilty, works on mechanics, and doesn't fall back to the sling the ball around mentality he can take the step. If he becomes a QB instead of a thrower he can take a giant leap.

I just judge on facts and what actually happens, he has been average the last two years, stats, GMs, coaches, coordinators and anyone who understands the game all back that up.

I judge on facts too. And the facts support that Stafford was a good QB with TDs, first downs, yards and 3rd down conversions. And only 12 ints were his fault fact. It's a fact he doesn't get the support like other QBs do. The good backfield came finally in 2013 but was still bad for 6 games (Calvin,Bush injuries for 5 of them). The turnover support wasn't there in 2012 or 2013. He loses 2-4 weapons a year for big chunks at the same time.

For what he has to deal with, Stafford does a great job.

Not sure I see 17 choosing tier two unless the tier starts at 12 or so.

Better..

Poor Stafford, doesn't get help. Other than the WRs drafted every year, luxury TEs taken, great o-line, best WR in the game. Gotta feel bad for the guy.

They may get drafted but they sure don't play. Best, Broyles and Young. And Burleson. Too many injuries.

Ebron was not a luxury it was a need. A big one.

Stafford helps the Oline with quick good decisions.

Calvin is great for Stafford but Stafford makes Calvin better. And when number 2 and 3 and TE don't get open, forces to Calvin can hurt Stafford even if Calvin can make great catches and is the best option in that scenario.

Do you honestly believe that Stafford makes Calvin Johnson better? Because I could throw him the ball, and he would catch it. To be honest, I'm tired of seeing Stafford bomb passes 30 feet over his head (that he still catches), and leading him into a defensive back that will take his head off. Calvin Johnson could catch passes from Timmy Chang.

Yes. You just have to look at Calvin's numbers to see that Stafford makes him better.

I got him behind matt Flynn and josh mccown.....cause he couldn't beat out matt flynn and josh mccown.

To be unbiased Calvin's numbers without Stafford aren't as good as with Stafford.

So one could without too much effort see that he makes him better.

And vice versa. But thats with any QB/WR combo.

Zoom, if Calvin was paired up with any starting QB in the NFL, they would make a great combo. As long as they have arms and can throw it 20 yards.

Listening to analysis of the list now on espn radio: "stafford just puts up numbers....hes never won anything"
