Stafford voted Comeback POY

Next comeback player of the year (I hope): Jahvid Best or Mikel Leshoure

Although, Peyton is probably a lock for it if he plays next year

Two shoulder separations limited Stafford to three starts, and only one full game, in 2010. But he returned in 2011 to throw for 5,038 yards and lead the Lions to their first playoff appearance in more than a decade. He started all 17 games, playing in all but 12 of their offensive snaps, and was named an alternate to the Pro Bowl. He received 21 of the possible 50 votes.

I'm guessing 3rd year players throwing for over 5,000 yards is not a big deal nowadays..

Think Stafford will win the Breakthrough athlete of the year at the espys?

With Stafford putting up historic QB numbers, I dont see that rightfully happening

Probably someone in basketball...

blake griffin.

Didn't he get it last year? Wouldn't be surprised for him to get it twice though.

OH! Probably Cam Newton. Or Tebow... if ANYONE from football.

I'm happy for him. But I don't understand one thing. What exactly was he "coming back" from? The handful of games he played in his first two seasons of which he had maybe 3 or 4 memorable performances? Doesn't "come back" mean returning to form after a bad year?
