Strausburg inning pitch count of 160 innings

Steven is at 77 innings pitched right now... The Nationals are pretty adamant that he will get shut down at 160 IP... What do you guys think they will do with a first place team right now as they approach the number?

I think they have to do everything possible to protect that arm.

If it means having him only go every 10 days for a few months so you have him available throughout the playoffs, that's what they should do.

The kid's young, and can have a long very good to great career ahead of him, assuming they protect him, and his arm.

For Marcum, Paplebon, and Rodney. I need closers and saves and i have plenty of pitchers who can get me more no-decisions LOL... Even though SS has been winning as of late..
