It doesn't matter what time of year. It doesn't matter where I am flying to. It doesn't matter if it's Tebow or Manning.

Every damned time I have to fly into Denver, my flight gets cancelled and I get stuck here until late into the night.

I hate this damned airport. I hate this damned city. I still can't figure out how the Broncos have ever managed to make it to a road game... you CANNOT fly out of here.

It is an interesting airport...in the middle of nowhere

lmao....sorry ink. Funny shit...

If the roles were reversed, I'd be laughing too. As is, a three hour layover has turned into a 12 hour layover, and it sucks.

I'm tempted to spend 250,000 sky miles and get myself one of those Delta Skysuites and take a nap. I've been up since 3am for an early flight out, and I don't know if I can keep going intelligently til 10pm tonight.

Isn't that the airport that has some weird mural in it that some suggest depicts the end of the world or something bizarre like that?

Sorry to hear about your luck ink...

They painted over it. There are all these conspiracy theories about the Denver Airport being the bunker for the end of the world. Jesse Ventura did a show on it I think. Bottom line Ink pray for the world to end in the next few hours and you'll be the one who has the last laugh on us poor suckers.

Good point cheeno, maybe your luck isn't so bad after all ink...

Isn't Denver where they fk'd up their new airport years ago and lost million and millions a day? I think the conveyor belt was a huge problem. Just wondering, if anyone knows, did that ever get finished or what?

It's finished now, and at least one leg of it is always broken.

It's like a 6 mile long airport or something stupid. A guy in great shape wouldn't want to walk it, and my fat ass sure as hell doesn't.

Luckily they have a sports bar when you can smoke, so I'll survive.

And as for the end of the world, they have all these Tornado Bunkers all over the airport. So all I can pray for is that God doesn't decide to punish the city for trading Tebow at a time when I can't get to the shelters.

It would really suck to die in a bathroom with your head wedged into a urinal when the bunker was like 30 feet away.

At least the view in Denver is nice...Michigan is just trees...everywhere.

grandy, I've lived predominantly in Arizona since '82. I'd love to just see some trees about now, because we don't happen to have any of those.. or at least any green ones.

And of course it's so hazy out, you can't see the Rocky Mountains at all. My luck.

Hey, this ain't so bad after all. I just got to meet Von Miller. Very nice guy, very open to having a football fan say hi and shake his hand.

He said he was surprised anyone in town even recognizes him now that #18 has arrived, haha.

I only recognize him because he looks like an enormous version of the smart looking guy from Boyz II Men.

That airport blows but meeting von miller would be pretty cool. My dad had his plain out of there cancelled twice and spent a day there. Not the happiest man on earth at the time. Hopefully you will get out of there soon ink.

I managed to finally get out of Denver at about midnight making it a 21 hour day at the airports.

Luckily I dot have to fly back out of Denver til Friday so I get a few days without frustration.

This time I actually get to go home for a while and see the family so I'm excited.
