Stupid Turnovers

This season boils down to turnovers given up that were returned for TDS and not getting enough turnovers in return. 10 allowed TD returns and 0 for the Lions forced.

2011 Lions allowed some returns (3 picks 6s, Carolina kickoff, Hester punt return) but the Lions got some of their own with 2 Cowboys int returns, Houston int return of Denver, Avril fumble recovery Denver, Avril pick 6Chargers, pick 6 Alphonso Smith vs Minnesota and Avril strip of Ponder at home. 5 to 7 in favor of the Lions.

Lions allowed 10 return of TDs(4 picks 6s(Green Bay home loss, Arizona loss, 4 special teams returns(Vikings home loss and at Titans loss), and 2 fumbles(at GB loss).this year plus the 2 short fields against Arizona. That's almost a TD a game given up from pure crap. 5 losses right there just from that.

Not being able to make a stop in the 4th Quarter resulted in San Fran loss, at Vikings loss(couldnt' stop Peterson),Houston loss and Indy loss,(plus Packer home loss). 4 losses right there

Turning the ball over 3 times in the redzone resulted in the at Chicago loss.

Undiciplined paper mache that cant execute, cant line up correctly on offense or defense, cant stay onsides, false starts, cant cause turnovers, cant run the ball consistently, cant get open, cant make plays, no big plays, cant catch punts, cant return kick offs, cant punt further than 35 yards, cant sack the oppposing teams, cant cover, cant stay out of trouble, cant stay out of the media for stupid shit, cant coach....

Too bad for you this team still has alot of talent and they are not going to blow it up. Defensive tweaks at DE(hopefully a first round stud that canp play right away) and safety and another playmaker on offense for some explosion. Hopefully they can hang onto to Houston though or they won't get better with just replacing him in the draft. Delmas must stay heallthy or the drafted safety better be damn good.

Too bad for you this team still has alot of talent and they are not going to blow it up. Defensive tweaks at DE(hopefully a first round stud that canp play right away) and safety and another playmaker on offense for some explosion. Hopefully they can hang onto to Houston though or they won't get better with just replacing him in the draft. Delmas must stay heallthy or the drafted safety better be damn good.

the team has very minimal talent....and you keep talking about resigning the SAME guys that got us to this point? Avril sucks and is overpaid. Delmas plays safety as much as my dead grandma. Houston is the only viable candidate to resign imo....and in order to do that were going to need to spend #1 cb money on a guy that is a #2. The guys we have COULD be talented....but we dont have the coaching staff that coaches guys up. We bring in new blood....and we sit them behind the guys that led us to a 4 win record. Most of our drafts picks float in mediocrity for a couple years then dissappear altogether.

need talented depth in order to make something happen in special teams....we traded up for tahir whitehead. we have no depth or talent on special teams.

The coverage has been much better. They already figured out the coverage issues. The changes they made helped.

Logan on the other hand is garbage.
