Stupor Tuesday results

No...I think it's a big deal. It shouldn't be a thing. But somehow we got to a point where republicans have to downplay their belief in man impacting climate change. Every republican isn't a science denying evangelical Christian, but the science deniers have enough clout to make the stereotype stick and most republicans won't challenge it the way it needs to be challenged, by going after the republicans that are wrong.

I don't agree - I think the label sticks because it gets thrown around constantly from all angles. Just look at Todd Akin - Romney and literally every other Republican disavowed his statements and distanced themselves from him. Not only did they not endorse him, the RNC pulled funding for his campaign and tried to get him to withdraw from the race so they could rush in another, less crazy candidate. But the media and the Dems linked him directly to Romney and everyone else they could link him to every chance they got.

For the record, I'm not the one who mentioned it.

technically, you didn't bring it up, but you took the conversation from 0 to 60 within a post. It would not have even became a topic of discussion in this thread if not for you.

we are really impressed by your moral authority on these matters. you really are truly committed to humanity; you're not just a guy who likes to point fingers at single mothers, children born out of wedlock, poor kids going unfed and unschooled, & then voting to cut benefits the receive and claiming their plight in life is their own making.

it's not their fault they have more kids than they can afford to feed and educate...it's ours

That probably sounds about right to a right-wing simpleton.

Until you go deeper and understand how hard it is to feed and educate children when good jobs are leaving the country at an alarming rate and being replaced by low wage ones, because the rich corporations can make more money that way. But of course it's always the fault of the people on the bottom for being poor, and in no way any responsibility of anyone else.

See, I can point fingers too. Still does nothing to solve the problem.

yes, it's really a conscious choice too: "hey, we're poor, let's get pregnant and go on welfare."

In Republican Dream World, before having sex two people always take the time to discuss their marital situation and finances, then calmly decide whether or not they should have unprotected sexual intercourse and make a baby.

that should be the "dream world" for liberals too.

talk about being a simpleton! The way you make it sound is poor people had good jobs, had children then their jobs were taken from them. This has happened to some people...but I'm sure it isn't the majority...that scenario is probably the extreme minority.

The bottom line is individuals are responsible for their actions. Having kids that YOU can't provide for is irresponsible.

thanks. I didn't think someone as morally bankrupt as you was even capable of recognizing morality. for the record, I have never pointed the finger at single moms or their kids. I have consistently pointed the finger squarely at you and other racist idiots like you gor your backward, retarded policies that created and perpetuated this cycle of.poverty.

the idea that the New Deal/War on Poverty programs of giving the unemployed, and employed-but-still-poor & their children the money they need to buy food, shelter, basic goods, etc created poverty does not warrant a response.

Yeah, but you being morally bankrupt does explain quite a bit, even if you are too wrapped up in your own ignorance to respond.

So anyways first exit poll results for Super Tuesday 2.0 happen within five minutes.
