I have a feeling ochocinco makes a huge play this game.

brady is on fire. Blackburn covering hernandez 1 vs 1....brilliant game plan by the NYG comming off of an extended halftime -.-

game of missed opportunities for the pats. couple forced fumbles they didnt recover. Dropped deep pass by welker that would have put them in scoring position. defensive offsides on an incomplete pass on 3rd down deep in their end that would have given them great field position.

ps...wtf was welker looking at on the final play? ball was tipped and he was in perfect position. Dude didnt even move lol.

I hate it when a team that had a record worse than ours wins the super bowl.

I hate it when the Lions defense doesn't show up for two weeks in a row.

Don't worry...his absence on run plays and his one pass rush move is going to lead us to the promise land.

Young pass rushers don't hit the market for a reason. We need as many as we can get.

But didn't Avril say he would like the Lions and him to "meet in the middle"? His words, not mine...

So, if you were to read between the lines there and this is complete speculation on my part, ok. He would be looking to get around 5-7 million. Not bad for a guy that's improving and he's well worth it.

I completely agree. 5-7 mil for a guy that gets you 8+ sacks a year and forces fumbles and makes plays is not to shabby. I dont get all the dislike for the guy. The reason our dline play went down late in the year had less to do with the players and more to do with the scheme. The giants dline is good because they line up and do different things. If they want to be successful the scheme needs to be adjusted.

um, the giants DEs are able to defend vs the run...avril is not capable of that. granted, much of that has to do with coaching as the giants actually do play the run on the way to the QB whereas the lions say they are but obviously are not.

Giants get pressure up the middle....we get none. Our middle gets double teamed and our des fly so far up the field it takes them out of most plays.
