I'm just not sure I'm going to actually watch the SB this year, one of those "can they both lose?" games. I have zero respect for either coach. I guess i'll pull for Brady due to the UM history, but not openly as my wife HATES him. she has issues with his womanizing ways before getting married, and she...does...NOT...let...those things go...
openly rooting for Brady for me is akin to saying "I'm going to go sleep outside tonight...in freezing temps...with no blankets or sleeping bag...naked...with syrup smeared all over me to entice the wildlife". Women!
her being a NY fan, she also has a long standing hatred for the Pats org from when they "stole" Parcells. like I said, she holds ON to shit. toss in the whole Pats being cheaters...happiest days of her life were the Giants beating the Pats in the SBs.
on the other hand, I really hate Stinky Pete even more than Bellicheat. I prefer Brady to Wilson, but that is more due to him being from UM than anything else. if he wasn't a Wolverine, not sure that I would root for him, but I do separate his on field from off field stuff unlike my wife...again, likely giving him a pass simply because he's a UM guy.
and is it better to have Seahawks winning back to back or for Pats to win another SB? just a lose/lose for me.
