The all positive thread

Thought it would be nice to focus on only positives for at least 1 thread. Some things that are positive about these Tigers to me.

1. Austin Jackson- He looks like he's really put it together now and could have a great career.

2. Andy Dirks- Always thought he was a good player, he's in the zone right now.

3. Justin Verlander- He might be better this year, he's the best pitcher in the game now and everyone knows it.

4. Miguel and Prince- Having solid years, but am I the only one who has noticed how hard they both play every day? I'm really liking the effort.

5. Drew Smyly- We knew he wasn't going to have a sub 2.00 ERA all year, but he's shown he has a future in the rotation.

6. Some guys like Boesch, Young, and Perralta have shown they are coming around the last several games.

The season is 1/4 over, it's been doom and gloom for a lot of fans including myself, but there's a lot to be hopeful about. Go Tigers!!!

There is a lot to like about this team despite the so so start. We have a ton of guys who are fairly likely to improve.

Boesch is hitting .355 in the last 17 games.

Young is batting .404 in the last 7 games.

Avila is batting .351 with 10 RBIs in the last 5 games.

Yes, though he is still hacking at some horrible pitches.

If he would lay off the pitching not over the plate, he would get walked more often, and a higher OBP from his would be great.

Leyland may be the best manager in baseball with this pathetic defensive team. He is doing just fine, along with the coach's. This team is going to breakout like you have never seen and take the trophy home. Just wait, it is all coming together.
