How would you have picked it for the lions:

1) Reuben Foster, LB

2) Tarrel Basham, DE

3) Jourdan Lewis, CB

4) Jake Butt, TE

5) Nathan Peterman, QB

1. Taco de
2. Zack Cunningham lb
3. Same trade
3. James Conner rb
4. Howard Wilson cb
4. Michael Roberts te
5. Davon godcheaux dt
6. Elijah qualls dt
6. Brad Kayla qb
7. Pat o Connor de

1. Taco Charlton
2. Chidobie Owuzie
3. same Trade
3. Kendall Beckwith
4. Micheal Roberts
4. Ryan Glasgow
5. Jamal Agnew
6. Brad Kaaya
6. Steve Tu'ikolovatu
7 Channing Stribbling

1 is ok.
2. I am worried about a bit.
3. I hate this pick . Least we got a extra pick.he is at best a #3 receiver.
4. is a injury concern with that shoulder. Good pick if he is healthy.
4.I Like the Roberts pick but if Butt becomes a all pro I'm going to be pissed.
5. if Agnew can not get hit he may be some added value as a nickel and punt returner .
Solid depth guy if he sticks.
6. Ledbetter. Depth guy with great motor . Guess experts feel he is a tweener. I see special teams in his future ..
6. Kaaya. Hated pick at the time I saw it but now I understand the plan.
7. Pat O' Connor .. Good in the Mac is sometimes ok in the NFL. There is always hope.

I will go with who you guys like at the picks. I would have loved a flyer on Butt somewhere. . Not a flashy draft but at least Quinn filled some needs.

I bet guys that get picked in the last few rounds get pissed. The make the same amount as rookies if they stick and can pick the team the want to try out for.

I saw something with Quinn yesterday says he wants to pick a qb every year or every other year . this is a different article but it is in there. I think every other year is ok but I understand Quinn's thinking . Get a guy to push Jake , and this kid has a bigger arm . Jake is probably is a better film study. Nfl teams need 3 qb's right ?

I still think quite a few teams still just carry two on the active roster.. At first I thought maybe we could be NE, have your 2nd or 3rd guy show something and trade for something useful. But Matt hasn't missed anytime in years.. But I certainly don't mind 6 round QB every year. Maybe you get lucky.. And If it something does happen to Matt maybe we'll have a guy who can still win.. I mean it's only a 6th rounder..

I would suspect they'd rather be drafted.. They probably get a better look when drafted compared to not being drafted. Plus, you can say they were drafted.

The plan is obvious. They're looking for competition in the backup QB position.

I feel BQ comes from the Patriots system, where even though they have the IMMORTAL TOMMY BALLGAME they STILL draft QB's and develop them and when they do develop you can TRADE THEM and get nice picks all while having a CHEAP backup qb... IDK why everyone is so upset with the pick. A LOT of people had the kid like 4th or 5th best QB IN THE ENTIRE DRAFT

Agreed. But even if he was the 50th overall best... it's a 6th round pick. How often do 6th round picks ever really make the roster or get playing time if they do?

Sure, a K or P might be a6th round pick. Or a long snapper (if not earlier *snicker*)... but the odds of a 6th round DE ever getting real playing time are slim.

I have no issue taking a developmental QB instead of a 4th string DT in the 6th round.
