Tell me who you don't want the Lions to take. Put it in writing now so when you complain in hindsight, you can say you called it.

I'm not high on Anthony Barr. I understand why they would make that pick and I'll give him 2 years at least but I wouldn't be super excited about that pick.

Or a trade up for Mike Evans. Mike Evans at 10 is fine.

Or a reach like Beckham or Cooks or Kyle Fuller. Again give them time to prove their worth on the field and they could be a good player, but wouldn't be that happy unless a trade down for them.

Trading away a future 1st wouldn't make me too happy either.

Add other rounds besides the first if you want.

I will be pissed if they trade up and give away too many picks to get Watkins. What I want is a trade down and take Ha-Ha. Most of the players that are mentioned at 10 are fine. I really don't want Evans...even at 10.

I don't want Justin Gilbert at all.

Barr's lack of experience at his position makes me nervous.

Those are really the only two "top 10" guys that I have strong negative feelings about.

Barr, any WR after Watkins/Evans at 10, any OT (esp Lewan), and i'm not high on Gilbert either (but i wouldn't be pissed that we took him).

The only guy id feel like I want to punch something if we took him would be Mike Evans....hes a worthless WR. Value sucks for basically everyone else that will be there at 10....so I cant get too mad if we take someone when the other options wont be that great either. Trade down is the perfect scenario. Trade up is meh for me cause I don't like the idea of losing picks. Gilbert, lewan, mosely, Donald, haha, ebron all have their positives and negatives and I basically lump them all in the same group of picks I would understand but not be thrilled about. Evans is the worst case scenario for me.

Beckham Jr. Not high on him at all and a lot of people have him rising.

Barr, he is an ideal 3-4 olb and even though we will be running some 3-4 dont like the value

Taylor Lewan. We don't need the O-Line help that badly, and he's not that special of a player. I'd be less likely to bitch if it was Jake Matthews, because I see him as a long term solution at LT with Rieff moving to RT.

Lewan I see as a guy who can't beat out either Rieff or Waddle. He's just nothing special in my eyes.

Mike Evans has all the looks of a bust to me. I wouldn't want an OT in the 1st. Not that we can't improve there but too many other positions of need. If we take a QB before the 4th round, I will freak out. Finally a WR in the first not named Watkins even if we trade down.

I really like Moncrief or Bryant more than a lot of the middle of the 1st options like OBJ, Cooks or Lee. Give me moncrief or Bryant in rds 2 or 3 over those other guys in rd 1 anyday. and I totally agree with you on Evans....I see people on tv trying to compare him to Alshon Jeffrey....seriously?...do they watch college football? Alshon Jeffrey was a completely different WR in college than Mike Evans. Jeffrey was a much more complete WR coming out and still got picked wayyyyy later than where evans is projected to go. The only positive thing ill say about Evans is his 40 time surprised me at the combine.

I'm with you. A WR in 2 or 3 is fine. I prefer Moncrief, Bryant and Adams over Beckham or Cooks. I would like Lee but don't see a scenario where we could get him.

I don't want Ebron or Barr.

Ebron could be great, but his bust potential is greater in my eyes. I would be mad at this pick.
Barr is a situational passrusher in my eyes and would be better suited in a 3-4. There are a few LBs in the later rds who are more well rounded.
Give me Evans, Gilbert, Lewan or Donald at #10 if possible.

That being said, i'll root for any player they choose and try to get on board if i'm not happy..lol.

I'm going to be the fan that hates everything this year. If we trade up, I'll hate it. If we trade down, I'll hate it. And whoever we pick, whenever we pick, I'll hate him too. It'll just be easier that way. :) Receivers other than Watkins seems like a reach at #10.

Honestly drafts don't excite me anymore. It only matters about the end result. As long as our 1st round pick produces actual results on the field then I won't care too much about what position he plays or what his results were during the underwear Olympics.

This year is weird. I seriously think theres a good chance our 2nd and 3rd round picks could get more playtime than our 1st. Any WR picked rd 1 will be nothing more than the 3rd wr on the field. Any secondary player could sit for a year behind Houston or ihedigbo. Ebron wouldn't be on the field more than 60% of the snaps. Any OT or OLB could get playtime but those aren't huge positions of need. Pick 10 blows for us....

trade down....get more value and more picks.

Mayhew always hints at 'he tried to trade down' so either he sucks at it or its hard to do..

Big drop off in talent at 2 key positions. OT and DT. If theres a run on OTs and Zach Martin and Morgan Moses are the only ones left on the board as high first round potentials....then someone could be inclined to trade up. Donald is also someone a team could make a move for. the next 4-3 DT off the board is likely Jernigan who has been projected to be an early day 2 guy as of late. Again...big drop off in talent. Need to hope theres a desperate team out there looking to move up....doesn't really have anything to do with Mayhews ability to move the pick.

If they draft Manziel, I will be pissed...unless hr outperforms Stafford, but I will still be pissed.

Outside that, feel like WR is the biggest need but ad previously posted, as long as the pick does well and adds value, I'm good with it. Most rooks need time to develop, so not saying he MUST start, just do well and show promise for the future with zero off field problems and no stupid penalties ala Suh.

Hi, Hughes!! ;)

I'm over being upset at anything this organization does. Inevitability, they will get it wrong. They are an inept organization that profits from the NFL brand. They are first and foremost about selling vehicles... everything else is a hobby.

Hi, Hughes!! ;)

if everything mayhew did wasn't so fucking dumb...I wouldn't have to hate it. But he sucks ass and his team sucks ass. Hes even made millens draft picks look good with some of his selections. what are millens and mayhew career win %s as GM? Both shitty....yay lions...
