The Future Bitch and Moan Thead

Suh,Levy,Tulloch,Quin, Ihedigbo must play like 2013. Or Suh like 2010 and 2012 and Tulloch 2011 and Quin 2011-2012.
Fairley like 2012/2013
Houston like 2010-2012
Jones like 2010 or 2012
Mathis like 2013 with 2-4 more picks.
Slay like most talented CBs in year 2 at 6'1 with 4.36 speed.
And Palmer is fine but won't play that much.
Ansah and Taylor in year 2 for talented DEs.

Plus we'll add some talented rookies unless we trade up for Watkins.

Man the Lions defense is so talented. Great job Mayhew. More than one good year for most of the guys.

I'm kidding they suck

Ftfy.

when players are good you don't have to pick out years that they "need" to play up to...or say "with more picks"....or say "if they develop"

5 1/2 hours before the draft starts.....here is my list for the "Future Bitch and Moan Thread"

Guys I DON'T want (that are a realistic possibility at 10)

-Ebron - Not a TEAM need at this point....a luxury pick

-Evans - Reminds me too much of Matt Jones....not a route runner...I don't think he has a career that would warrant the 10th pick......and I think he'll struggle to be a playmaker in the NFL.

-Lewan - Nut job.....not a lot better than either tackle we have right now....wouldn't improve the team much

-Beckham Jr. - Too small. Slot WR. Terrible value at 10

-Lee - See above

-Donald - This guy was tough to put on the list. Nothing to do with his physical talent....but he would be a rotational player this year....and it would mean Suh is GONE. That said....if we trade Suh and pick Donald....im fine with that.

-Anthony Barr - Not a 4-3 DE. As a LB......would be a pass liability in a passing league. I think he is a worse version of Avril.

-ANY QB in the first 3 Rounds - I think the guys drafted in the 4th - 7th aren't much worse than anyone drafted higher.

My Top 3 Choices at #10

1. Ha Ha - Day 1 starter....playmaker.
2. Dennard - Best all around CB in the draft. A "you know what you're gonna get" pick. I think he'll be a Brandon Flowers/Joe Haden type. He'll make a couple pro bowls in his career. Would be a great top 3 CB with Houston and Slay.....and if Houston isn't ready could start day one.
3. Gilbert - Elite athlete. My problem with him is I don't think he's a day one starter.....and he isn't a press CB. If this new coaching staff want's press corners, Gilbert wont be our choice.

Just my $.02

completely agree with everything you said except the importance Donald could play for this team. If they feel there is going to be a big hole at the DT spot next year Donald is good enough player to take at 10. Hes good enough to use as a trade down bait since the next best is Jernigan who has not had a good pre draft evaluation process and is probably a day 2 guy now.

Id be fine with HAHA, Gilbert or Donald. I still think id rather have gilbert over dennard but I couldn't argue with a dennard pick. Zack Martin might be a darkhorse pick if anything Charlie "Tettrazini" Casserole says is true.

I agree with all that as well even what hughes added, Donald. He could be a nice depth guy and take over when Fairley and his encroachment penalties are gone. Outside of Ha Ha I don't see any first day starters..
