I choose 84

From a Tiger perspective yes!! From anywhere else, it was a lot like 2006.

The Tiger perspective is the only one I got. And I like it that way.

I have some great World Series but none of those give me the feeling of 84

So nice that the redsox lost 75 and 86.
I would march around the office yelling "We're number two, we're number two". or "redsox won the world series three games to four".

From a Tigers' fans perspective 84 should be the world series for you. But if you were old enough to see the 68 Tigers come back from being down 3 games to 1 in game five the moment Kaline lined a single to right center scoring runs and taking the lead and beating gibson in the seventh game.

I would have loved to have been around for 68. Hearing what it meant for the city and the quality series that is was.

In 84, I was about to turn 11 and that seemed to be the perfect time for baseball in my life. I am not claiming that the 84 series was the most competative or most compelling. It just will always be at the top of my list until my 4 year old son wins one for the Tigers.

What was so great about 2011 or are you just picking series that go 7?
