It looks like its on to stay with dawson. Hes playing with a ton of energy, going up high for boards, jumping passing lanes and making big plays.

The same thing happened with payne at Iowa last year, I hope we have the same results

I agree 100 percent. He has a tendency to look bored when he's aying, almost as if his mind is somewhere else. I haven't seen that since the Carolina game though.

If he continuous to play like this he'll probably be gone after the season too. I don't know if it was the Indiana or the Penn State game, but he took a 15ft jump shot and air balled. He still struggles with dribbling too, but scouts love athletic players like him.

The frustration is that what he brings is all effort based. Shooters have bad nights, pg's have games where they turn it over, a post player may have a bad game against a tough defender but defensive intensity and rebounding shouldn't take a night off.

Part of the reason izzo has done well without top ten guys is that his system is based on that. If you consistently outwork other teams in those areas you'll end up with more possessions and opportunity.

The fear is that Dawson might have mono. He's Costello's roommate and hasn't been feeling right lately. He's going for tests Monday to hopefully figure out what's wrong.

It's his roommate. Did you even read the link? His response was "Hopefully not" when asked about possibly getting mono from Costello. They haven't ruled it out yet though. That's why the tests today.
