interesting that Dunn didnt even mention academics as part of his decision

interesting, also, to see that Sevonn Pittman was at Ohio* last weekend...I wonder how strong his commitment is to MSU.

As much as I'd like to see MSU take a hit I don't want OSU getting him and Washington. But it wouldn't surprise me at all.

Well, Ohio is going to be full of good recruits. We already know that. I think its better that he goes to Ohio and it prevents MSU from getting good recruits.

As noted above, Dunn won't be enrolling early. That sucks
Yeah this is going to go on for a little bit, was hoping it would end early so we could stop talking about it

That's good to hear. I didn't really expect it to but you know how it goes.
I get what you're saying but I don't think Treadwell is like that. He came so so close to committing a couple times this year so i don't think the departure of Standifer changes how he feels about Michigan. Brian Kelly tried to tell Treadwell not to make a decision based on his relationship with coaches which is pretty questionable.

Se'von Pittman just committed to OSU from MSU. Thought it was funny so i posted it. tRCMB is going to assplode

I thought this was just some tweet from some guy. Is this official now?

Dunn has postponed his visit to AA this weekend until January (supposedly). He's no longer planning on enrolling early so it shouldn't matter that much and Hoke is still supposed to be having an in-home visit with him sometime this week. I guess this could actually work out better for us if he is taking his time because the magic of the OSU visit will eventually wear off and Urban has already used up his visit so if everything goes according to plan we will be the last one in his ear. It's funny how worked up some people are getting over a 4* recruit, you would think he was the greatest RB prospect to ever pick up a football. At this point I'd be more than OK with letting Dunn go to Ohio and putting all of our eggs in the Ty Isaac basket for 2013, that kid will be a freak.

Oh and as far as Pittman is concerned it is very official, they're probably going to end up with Noah Spence too. Why 3 top rated DE's (who don't project to DT or OLB at all) would commit to the same team in the same year makes no sense to me but God bless I suppose.

I don't know, but I feel that with Dunn's size he would be a force in the upperclassmen years. 4* or not, this is a kid we want in our back field. I don't think he will do a lot of damage at OSU, so if he goes there more power to him. At UM he will be a feature back by his 3rd year on campus.

I don't think this bodes well for us though

I concur but it's not a death sentence IMO, I was just trying to spin a little positivity out of it. I also agree that I would take Ty Isaac every single time against Dunn. Ty is also being recruited hard by Ohio and I simply can't follow the logic of a kid of that caliber going there after they take two highly rated RB's this year but stranger things have happened. I think people are also forgetting about Rawls and Hayes. Rawls showed some serious power this year and Hayes was a top 3 APB in last years class, plus we still have two more years of Fitz. We will be just fine for the time being at RB.

No Bri'onte Dunn for us, recommitted to OSU tonight, VH says the staff knew it. Kinda sad, but the kid handled this with class so i have no problem with it.

WOTS it that the staff now has Armani Reeves #1 on their CB board over Wright and they had an in-home with him and he came away saying if the PSU thing doesn't resolve Michigan is his backup plan

OSU offered Dymonte Thomas tonight and he basically laughed in their face about it. Still a long ways off on him but he seems to be totally buying into Michigan and him and Shane Morris are already planning on rooming together when they hit campus. Lets just get Ty Isaac next year and continue to build a dominant OL and then we can laugh at Dunn getting 500 yards per year while he's busy blocking for Braxton.
