The Next Phase in Transmorphing

Michael Steele. And I can't remember if he was pretending to be black or Republican - maybe both. For all I know, maybe he is Ron Steele and he's just pretending his name is Michael. I'll google him later and report back to you.

I got the guy's first name wrong?

That's pretty funny.

Although he's been not in the public eye near as much as he used to be; did he run for governor of Virginia and lose, and hasn't been heard from much since?

I used to like him when he would go on Bill Maher; those two had a funny back and forth.

I highly doubt changing the melonin levels in one's skin and thereby appearing to be black is going to result in changes to bone, tendon, and muscle structures under the skin, therefore the inability to jump is to the bone.

Right before the Beijing Olympics Pao Gasol and the Spanish national basketball caught a little heat for posing for a team photo squinting their eyes and putting their two front teeth over their lower lips.

What's curious is right after posing for the photo the team, none of whom had professional tech experience, created a new app.

It's funny to see who gets their panties in a wad over this story.

IF I had to guess though, I suppose this story is "newsworthy" (Fox, Breitbart, the KKK, etc won't shut up about it) because it jives with the whole "*wink*wink*nudge* we're not racist, we just happen to oppose every initiative that benefits African Americans, favor ones that screw them over, blame them for their own circumstances, and believe theyre lazy, stupid, shiftless, and dishonest, but oh no, it's not racist to believe things like that about an entire race, & it's funny because it's true!" that is prevalent among Republitards.

I don't know what makes me laugh more - your unwavering bias, your hatred/bigotry, your complete lack of integrity or your boundless stupidity. You're DSF's Debbie Wasserman Schultz only chubbier and less attractive.

This is even more absurd. If this was a conservative who told obvious lies to get a scholarship to a conservative college and employment at a conservative organization you'd be hooting and hollering about incompetence of the the leadership and what an unconscionable fraud the bad actor was and listing all the crimes they had potentially committed by lying to get their full ride college scholarship, lying on their job application, etc etc.

The same guy who whines about not being able to make fun of Hillary without others piling on.

granted, every time some anti-gay, bigoted, family values, "do as I say" Republitard politician or preacher is outed, gets a lot of hoots and hollers from the Left, but then again, these incidents are just dripping with hypocrisy. They push legislation that governs other people's personal relationships based on their own morals. They demand others adhere to higher standards of personal accountability that they themselves can't even come close to.

I don't really see how the Rachel Dolezal/NAACP incident involves anything hypocritical or noteworthy, in comparison. it's not even a national issue; she was the head of the local Spokane, WA chapter!!

Sooooo much ado about nothing.

Unless you're racist.

I'm not saying the story is hypocritical. I'm calling you a hypocrite. It never matters to you what level any controversy involving a conservative comes from - federal, state or local (remember your story about the Christian lawyers you posted on your favorite anti-religion thread? were they national figures or any other examples from that thread national figures?). Face it, you're a hypocrite. And a racist homophobe. Just own it.

I hardly think the occasional post about some outed Right-wing religious bigot rises to the level of coverage this story has gotten. but whatever. okay, I'm a big hypocrite.

Again, nobody is defending the coverage or saying it's appropriate. You're the only one who seems concerned/obsessed with it. It's an absurd story and we're having a little fun with it.

I have (intentionally) not seen any "media" coverage of the story but have seen plenty of Twitter and FB action about it. The trend of those seemingly most upset with the Tacoma story were those who were also Tweeting pictures of injured Military Vets with captions like, "Yet you call Bruce Jenner a Hero?!"

It's an issue of race only in that it can be characterized as such if you also think it's "racist" as a white person not to be able to say "nigger"

She's a scammer in a sense and she's absolutely, most certainly also not the first lame white person who really, really wanted to be black.

there seems to be some Republitard "angle" as to why this is so newsworthy.

All I can see is:

1.) it's bad she lied to get her job. And it's always bad when a person lies to get a job.

2.) the NAACP is not an exclusively black organization, so the fact that a white person was a member is not a big deal.

3.) lots of organizations have gotten duped by employees who lie their way in, so the NAACP is hardly blameworthy in this regard.

It actually goes a lot deeper than that bud.

She didn't just lie about her skin color. She kept a picture of a black man on her desk and told people it was her father, who had to flee the deep south to avoid being murdered over marrying a white woman.

And that is just one example of how thwacked out this bitch is.

The whole "I identify as black" just doesn't hold water. Genetically, a person may identify as another gender. But they cannot genetically identify as a different culture.

The saddest part about this story is that this woman is an NCAA leader, and yet she thinks a hairstyle and clothing is what makes someone black. She believes she did nothing wrong in making up stories about her father's escape from the deep south due to racism and death threats... it's all just part of "feeling" black, which is a bad spray tan, a frizzed out haircut, and some Dashiki's in the closet.

It's pretty much the ultimate disrespect to the very people she was hired to represent.

She sounds like a disaster.

Still, some seem to want to make this about African American rights & knock the NAACP... you really have to stretch to make it about that. Unless...

well, you know...

Nobody is making this about african american rights - what is that anyway? African American rights? Is that a thing? Is there an African American bill of rights? Are you segregating African Americans and applying a different set of rights, rules and standards to them? Sounds pretty racist. The only stretch here is you boiling down any opposition to your racist agenda to racism.

You don't think African Americans should have rights? Or you really want to argue over what I meant? Semantics... Did KAWDUP put you up to this?

That's what you got from that? You're the one trying to make this about something it's not so you can again draw the false conclusion that everyone who disagrees with you is racist. Your routine is old and tired and has been roundly disproved but it's all you have, so...

To make it all even more ludicrous, it seems Rachel Dolezal called for a boycott last year of the movie Exodus: Gods and Kings for it's use of white actors in black roles.

...WOW!
