The Official Florida vs ][V][ichigan Game Thread

I think the strange stuff. Is due to inconsistency....

Defense developing but will still have challenges

Question some offense play call

Defense essentially shut their offense out. Their offense never found the endzone. Only gave up a fg early. Now don't give up the TD late!

Well there goes floridas opening game win streak haha they finally played a team with a pulse

And once again Michigan beats Florida. Ha! Not even close. The final score doesn't reflect the dominance Michigan displayed in this game. Now, if Speight could hit wide open receivers and hit passes to the corner of the endzone this team would be unstoppable.

Did we lose our brakes? Weren't we promised that our brakes would be beaten off?

Of course we lost our brakes. After all, when you lose your brakes, you can't be stopped!

Defense was scary good vs a bad offense
Evans should be a 3rd down back at the MOST
Speight has flashes of brilliance followed by flashes of Devin Gardner (the shitty inconsistent qb... not the wr)
Black looked like the real deal in the first half then disappeared..Did he get back in after the hit to the head?
Use the TEs more

In the end we dominated an SEC team... good win. Let's hope all the mistakes were just due to it being the 1st game.

The mistakes will probably be a theme this year. There are so many players just getting their feet wet, but that should also lead to hopefully a much better team by the years end.

I still worry about Speight's ability to throw the deep ball, especially along the sideline/in the corner.

He has the arm, his touch was terrible . And he is still late on some throws. The long td should have happened about 2 seconds earlier. The Florida guy almost caught up to it.
