It was designed to make penn state step up to take away the 4th and short run. But penn state stayed decent in coverage. Would have liked to see something deep off a long play action.

When your offense is driving the ball I don't see the need to set up a 4th down. Go for first downs, get the ball in the redzone and score.

Maybe try a vertical pass next obvious running play. I don’t get the 3rd and 5 and 4th and 2 call. Lucky it didn’t hurt us .
