Get Startedyeah i hate the alignment we are using on defense .. what is it?
a 3/4 0r a 3/5 Bam what the heck are we running on defense because its not even close to working..
All we have left is a wing and a prayer. ...
Running a lot of nickel (5 DBs) with a 3 man front.
We're seeing the same problems today we saw with the 3-3-5 under Greg Robinson.
In a nutshell, the best 3 man (3-4 OR 3-3-5) fronts rely on bringing pressure from the second level; the benefit is it's tougher for QBs to see where the pressure is coming and more difficult for the C (or whomever calls the blocking schemes) to read what's coming and from where.
Under Greg Robinson, Michigan had a 3 man front being run by a 4-3, Cover 2 defensive coordinator (VERY minimal blitzing). So you had a defense that relies on blitzing being run by a man who didn't understand blitzing.
Today, 3 man fronts, linebackers in the second level waiting to read the play, getting locked down by OL, and whiffing on tackles.
The fact that Durkin drew up this defensive plan should disqualify him from being a head coach anywhere else in the country, but it's motivated me to rent the truck and drive it to College Park, MD myself.
A fucking field goal? What kind of pussy shit is this?

It's smart. If we hadn't gotten the touchdown, we'd be 3 scores down with less than a quarter to go. A FG at least gets us within range if the D steps up
The defensive game plan is a fucking disaster. Shades of the Rich Rod era. This game is over even if we score here. Why is it no one else had problems stopping the OSU offense, but we do. They lost because of turnovers. We havent even turned the ball over or got one for that matter.
OSU might run for 300 today
